"We were greeted immediately by the friendly hostess. She informed us we would be seated a table 11. I asked her if this was a good table. She said absolutely it is one of our best. I have heard this line before but when we arrived at the table she was absolutely correct ! A great corner table with open doors overlooking the water. Our waiter was efficient and very friendly. When we asked him if we could modify our meal choices he was very helpful, asked the kitchen, and informed us it was no problem at all. The meals were excellent ! I made this last minute reservation on my Open Table App with no expectations. It was an awesome dining experience. Thank you to the entire staff at the Landfall restaurant. I wish I was better at remembering names because I would have mentioned our hostess and waiter as they were fantastic ! JohnC"

"My husband and I went to the Cape last weekend and decided to get lunch at the Captain Kidd. I was looking forward to the onion rings only to find out they are not doing onion rings this year. I was a little disappointed. My husband ordered the mussels as a meal, definitely big enough order for a meal. I don't eat seafood but he said the mussels were delicious. I ended up ordering the CK burger and I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfect, just the way I ordered it. Our server was friendly and outgoing. I hope to be back on the Cape in a few weeks and will definitely stop in again."

"Very good restaurant and experience. The staff takes care of the guests and looking at all the requirements as we asked, sitting on the deck and not available space when we first arrived, so we were placed next to the dock and once a table was available, we sat on the dock as expected. Food is delicious, especially the lobster roll and not overpriced."

"Not a business I would recommend supporting after my experience with the owner, who was very rude to myself and the cool employees. I visited during the lunch rush and ordered with the make your own sandwich slip. There was a confusion as lobstersalad was an option on the slip with no additional cost. A kind employee called me over and said they would make me a lobstersandwich since the lobster salad was unavailable. I paid based off the price on the slip and waited about half an hour for myfood, and was presented with a lobster roll. The old lady who appears to own or run the place grabbed the food out of my handsand rudely told me I need to pay an extra $20 and proceeded to yell at one of the employees. I explained that I paid based offthe price on the slip and wanted a sub with lobster salad. She was very accusatory and took the food away from me, telling me Icannot have any sandwich with lobster for that price, even though it was an option on the slip. It was just a confusion, butthe attitude and aggressive tone of voice that she spoke to me with nearly made me cry. At this point i didn 't want to wait anylonger so I asked for a refund, but was instead told I need to pick something else off the menu. I left with a turkey sandwichthat was okay, but definitely not worth $17. To make matters worse, an employee approached me afterwards and apologized,expressing that the owners are notorious for being awfully rude to customers and employees alike. This place is in a greatlocation and has such a great variety of food to grab, it 's a shame. I suggest the owner relook at the attitude she carries.It 's really not that hard to be kind, even when there is a lobster confusion."
