"My husband and I went to the Cape last weekend and decided to get lunch at the Captain Kidd. I was looking forward to the onion rings only to find out they are not doing onion rings this year. I was a little disappointed. My husband ordered the mussels as a meal, definitely big enough order for a meal. I don't eat seafood but he said the mussels were delicious. I ended up ordering the CK burger and I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfect, just the way I ordered it. Our server was friendly and outgoing. I hope to be back on the Cape in a few weeks and will definitely stop in again."

Stopped by for lunch on a cold gray day and it was wonderful! Had a nice table on the deck with a heater very comfortable. Hannah, Jane, and Lily all were wonderful servers with bright personalities. Had the chowder, bisque, fish tacos, club sandwich, and fried chicken sandwich. All were served quickly, hot, and delicious! Bought a sweatshirt, too! Definitely coming back. Not sure why the zero star reviews were here, but seems very out of character with what we experienced and I suspect there’s more to that story.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in woods hole. I’m surprised their prices are still so low considering the quality of their food is so high and this place is right on the water. It has all the staples a restaurant on the cape should have. Everything my family ordered was great, especially the lobster rolls. GREAT bang for your buck. The service was quick and the owner even came out to chat with us which I thought was a nice touch. Can’t beat this place. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new spot to try
