"With the name Pike Pint you'd expect a variety of fish dishes. Nope not here. We were looking for something simple like fish and chips. Not even in the menu. Beers were so not to our liking ordered something easy. Our waitress was super and she did her best. But when asked about the beers she hasn't tried any. When asked about the food we did order she had not tried that either. Training is so important for servers and part of that should be food tasting. Pricing is high. Very similar to other states like NY or Calif and it shouldn't be. The chicken wings that were ordered can with four slices of celery. Very disappointing. Perhaps training for cooks too. Don't plan on going back. Just isn't anything on the menu we were looking for. Atmosphere is nice though."

We dined on the patio, which is by far the nicest one I've ever been to. We were very happy with our meals, which included walleye, walleye bites, and a shrimp salad. Everything was excellent! Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Other.

Goodod service, despite a healthy crowd. Walleye bites were fabulous. Plenty of good craft beer choices. The ribeye was prepared nicely, but it appeared to be a rather lousy cut of meat. Definitely not worth the price Though the sides were also very good. Given the price, the poor cut of meat was probably worth complaining over But I was there to eat, and have a beer, not complain! Do better.

I was passing through and found this was a popular spot with good reviews. It did not disappoint. The bar seating area had waiting line we took dining side. Service was quick and friendly, food came out very quickly and cooked perfectly even for how busy it was on a Friday evening. With an appetizer and sandwiches for two people we spent close to sixty at the time of our visit. I would recommend. Service: Dine in View menu

My husband and I ordered the Thai Noodle SALAD and there was nothing green about it. It should be called a ‘noodle bowl.’ Our server did not check on us after our food was delivered to the table (nor did she swing by to fill our water cups) so we never had an opportunity to ask to see the menu description to see if we misread or order something else. We also ordered a kids meal for our son and the side of steamed broccoli and it was watery, hard and had brown ends. We read good reviews and wanted to enjoy it but the experience fell flat. We did sit on the patio and the atmosphere was nice!

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
