"Livermore is one lucky place to have such an incredible restaurant! From the minute you walk in and are greeted by Chef Eduardo and Jorge the Sommelier and the friendly staff, this restaurant becomes more than a place to wine and dine. It is a mix of class and comfort and they make you feel like you are part of a family every time you visit. We felt like royalty! We had one of their specials and the steak and prawns and every bite of the avocado, roasted corn, and poblano chili they decorated them with were cooked and displayed to perfection. The suggested wine pairing was the Chateau des Laurets Bordeaux blend. It tamed the chili while enhancing the red meat with strong tannins. We polished off the meal with the blueberry mousse and left so very full and happy! Our precious waitress, Amber, made great conversation while educating us about the amazing assortment of wines in the cellar, our wine choice, and the food. She kept the evening lighthearted and made sure we weren’t missing a single element of this dining experience to assure a perfect evening.I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! We love the people, the food, and the wine, and are thankful Posada has chosen be in Livermore for us!"

Had the pork tenderloin. My wife had the mahi mahi tacos, served with watermelon salad. The appetizer was parmesan crust cauliflower. Delicious.

Fantastic experience. Everything was incredible and memorable: Mezcal cocktail; Cauliflower appetizer; Lamb chops for the main course; Flan and the blueberry mousse for dessert. Will be back again soon!

We love this restaurant! We have been here many times and we cannot recommend it enough. Tonight we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and everything about this evening was perfect thanks to Posada (even though they didn’t know it was our anniversary). View menu

I am completely amazed by the food at Posada! The bartender recommended the enchiladas, and they were absolutely amazing. My partner enjoyed their cocktail (I believe it was called She Devil), and we were tempted to try the jalapeño margaritas that the bartender was constantly making, but we had to drive home.

Posada is our top pick for dining in the Tri-Valley area. The food is amazing, especially their delicious appetizers and always-changing main course options. The owner is always checking in on guests and ensuring everyone has a wonderful experience. Whether it's a special occasion or just a regular weeknight, dining at Posada is always a great choice.

drinking was good. the personal is very friendly. eating was just ok. highlights are the baked flower charcoal. the aguachile rib 48) was in a lemon sauce which was good to season and exaggerate the meat. the black garnel and chorizo had good taste, but it was more like a Portuguese linguika not a chorizo 30). beautiful place to hang and have a good time. service was excellent. eating was just ok View menu

Atmosphere, good drinks (yes plural) and pleasant accommodating wait staff is what makes Posada one of my favorite high-end places to eat. The phenomenal sauces combined with items cooked perfectly make this one of (if not THE) best restaurant in Livermore. Latin meals are their wheel-house; no doubt, Full-stop. With that said, what’s not in their wheel-house are steaks. Don’t get me wrong here, preparation was unparalleled, quality of the meat was another. Quite sub-par for the price. Over all thought, a terrific place to go.

The South-Western cuisine at Posada is absolutely fantastic. Despite facing the challenges of the pandemic over the last two years, my wife and I have always found comfort in dining at Posada. The food and service are truly phenomenal. On Mother's Day, we were blown away by the creativity and delicious flavors of the appetizers and entrees we ordered. Our server, Ody, was professional and friendly, and the owners, Eduardo, Blanca, and their son, Alexsis, always make us feel welcome. We consider them to be sincere friends. The guacamole blackened shrimp appetizer was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. The king ranch enchiladas, blackened shrimp tostadas, and Mahi-Mahi tacos...

"Really surprising to find such a delicious and unique dining experience on the outskirts of downtown Livermore. I came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate my cousin's birthday with 3 other diners. We were seated outside on their back patio area, which is both well-lit and cozy and open. The one thing that other diners have noted is that there is a very large pepper tree looming over half of the patio area that drops little leaves and plant-things on your food as you're dining. If you are eating there in the evening, it can be hard to see this in the dimmer lighting, so diner beware! We ordered several snacks and appetizers to share, including the Wingen Bakery bread (with butter), fritto of cabbage and pepper, roasted squash with chicken skin, and the potato flatbread. By far, our favorite was the fried potato flatbread, which reminded me of a savory fluffy churro. The creme fraiche and herbs were a nice touch that cut through the grease. I could eat one of these all by myself! It was by far, everyone's favorite because of its unique texture and overall deliciousness. For my main course, I ordered the flat iron steak and was so pleasantly surprised by how tender it was. The butter on top made it super luxurious tasting. I also loved the juicy and sweet early girl roasted tomatoes. And the buttery mashed potatoes were super smooth and delicious as well. I loved this dish and would totally order it again. We ordered three desserts to share: the milk and honey, sourdough churros, the lemon posset with corn and berries. All of it was good, but I especially enjoyed the lemon posset which had great texture and contrast between sweet and tart. This was a lovely dinner in a lovely setting. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. I loved their little touches such as the string lights, wall murals, and blankets as well as the fact that their heat lamps were super strong! I would absolutely return to Range Life and highly recommend it for a great dinner experience!"
