Check in on yelp and get a free shot! Generally fun times with my friends whenever I am here. Theres a stage and two mics, which go well with any duet you plan on singing. Food is pretty good and decently priced. Will probably go here again. Look out for their groupon deals.

My best friend had her birthday here and it was honestly so much fun. She got a package with two bottles of alcohol, 2 champagne bottles and 20 beers plus finger foods and we didn't even finish everything. It was really fun and I'd honestly do it again. Totally recommend this place!

I really enjoyed this place from the great selection of music to the amazing staff. The vibe you get from this place is very hype yet intimate. There are a great selection of songs to sing from and depending on the crowd you're with, you're going to have a grand time. Shout out to Shoshana for making the night a lot more fun for the crowd. Not only did she bartend, but she was also in charge of the coat check, cut the cake, and sang some great songs with her flawless voice. She is a great multitasker! I definitely recommend this spot for folks who enjoy entertainment from others.

Recently had a party in one of their suites for a friend's bachelorette party. A thank you to Holly for initially helping to set up the night. The gentleman at the front door, Kevin, is a great start to the night, all smiles. We met Isabel and Shoshanna (I'm sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly) who ROCKED! Our original suite had issues with the mics so Shoshanna gave us another room and even extended our time for fifteen minutes to accomodate the lost time due to the inconvenience. No matter what the need, our girls Shoshanna and Isabel were spot on and attentive. Thank you to the ladies and the bus boys who were so gracious and kind and attentive to our needs. Pulse is like that karaoke spot I don't particularly enjoy when I'm sober, but don’t mind visiting when I’ve had a few drinks. It's reminiscent of Jon Hamm's character in Bridesmaids: visually stunning, but a bit pretentious. You go there occasionally for a fun night out, only to wake up the next day regretting your choices. The pretentiousness stems from Pulse's frustrating inability to answer phone calls or reply to emails. Every time I've tried to make a reservation or reach someone directly, I've received...nothing. It 's sort of a universal truth that everybody loves karaoke. And so I was expecting that we wouldn 't be able to get a private room without a reservation on a Friday night. The main hall/singing area was constructed in a very inviting way. There 's a non-intimidating mini stage to share with a friend or two if you 're a little bit shy. The crowd was suprisingly supportive that night. The wait for the room was not that long. The sound quality is karaoke-perfect! This is a very cute karaoke spot, I would not mind coming here again. The drinks were good, it only cost $1 for each song you wanted to sing. The place had a very causal or dress up if you like feel to it. I went for my sisters friends birthday so we were a little on the dressy side but some people were and were not and it wasn 't a problem. I will say as usual as it got later in the night the list for songs were very long and the wait became a drag. But I got there about 11pm and we sang many songs. As for appetizers, they were decent but quite small for the price. For two people, you receive four wings, four spring rolls (which are really just two cut into four pieces), four mozzarella sticks, and some French fries. That means just two pieces of each appetizer for two people, and you have to share the platter. The included champagne is Barefoot. With six people in a private room costing $50 each, the total comes to $300, excluding the 20% gratuity and tax, which brings it to $410. Why are they serving such cheap champagne?
