"Our server was somewhat pleasant, but unfortunately, they got our order wrong even after taking it down twice. When we pointed out the mistake and requested the incorrect order, a rude individual—who I think might have been a manager—approached our table and curtly insisted that my dog needed to be sitting. My dog was standing next to my chair on a short leash, which is standard protocol. It has been a long time since I experienced such poor treatment at a restaurant. Next time, I will certainly choose the place next door, and I encourage you to do the same!"

I happened to discover this restaurant and noticed it's for sale, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. The prices are reasonable, and it seems to be a popular spot with the locals. I would definitely return!

OMG, what a winner! We both ordered the Fish and Chips, which included perfectly crispy battered fish, nicely seasoned coleslaw (not too sweet), garlic bread, and thin, crispy fries that were delicious, especially when dipped in the sauce. Fortunately, we’re in Winchester Bay for another week, so we’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped by this place on a roadtrip and was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of the food! The chowder was amazing and the shrimp were fried to perfection. We had the sweetest waitress and the other diners made us feel like we were almost part of the family. 10/10 would stop here again. The restaurant has a great location by the water, but the building and overall atmosphere leave something to be desired. It was clear they were understaffed, and the young servers were doing their best, but they seemed overwhelmed. We waited almost an hour for our food, which was quite tasty once it finally arrived. The sidewinder fries were excellent, and the portion sizes are definitely generous!

Amazing food and atmosphere, super busy the Tuesday night we were there. Would definitely recommend making a reservation especially if you have more than 2 people. But the food and drinks were amazing. They had a few good vegan options but nothing specifically vegan so you just gotta work with the menu and servers for that. I'm not sure if they were unusually slammed for a Tuesday or short staffed but our server Blithe was terrific! Amazing view of the water and they have bird feeders outside so you can bird watch while you eat!
