"came here with a few friends for an early dinner. it was dark and a little grungey inside, but seemed relatively clean until we sat down. the menus were sticky and all 4 of us were overwhelmed by the amount of options there were. we ordered the mac and cheese bites for an appetizer and they were mediocre at best. they tasted exactly like velveeta (which may be good if you enjoy velveeta, but personally i am not a fan. especially when i am out to eat). for my entree i ordered a buffalo chicken grinder, and i was immediately not appealed upon seeing it. from looking at it, it appeared to be mostly lettuce, but i was not upset about this as i just took a little bit of it off. i WAS upset, however (or maybe slightly nauseated is a better word), about the several pieces of bone i chomped down on when i bit into the chicken. the first time i just spit it out and continued eating, but the second and third time was enough for me. i ended up removing the chicken and lettuce entirely and just eating cheese and buffalo sauce on a piece of bread. without the lettuce and chicken on it it actually wasn?t bad, but at this point i was a little grossed out from all the hard pieces i had bitten into, so i didn?t end up eating much more. to top off this sub par experience, when i turned on the water in the restroom to wash my hands after i went, the tiniest dribble of water came out of the faucet. it was barely enough to rinse the soap off my hands, let alone properly wash them. i do have to say, the service was good; we were seated immediately upon our arrival, our waitress was very attentive and sweet, and our food was out of the kitchen relatively quick. however, the service doesn?t mean much when the food is slightly sickening."

Looked this place on the web while we were out. It was very good. My wife said it was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches she has had. I had the Salmon burger. It was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

A great place to eat! We have visited here a lot lately and every new meal is great!! Also ideal for family meals or intimate meals directly outside the UConn campus. Definitely hidden jewel in the stripe mall spot it is in. The staff is amazing and attentive and also the owner!

I ordered chicken portobello mushroom panini. Delicious!! The chicken is marinated, tastes great, and the leftover aromas fill up your car!! My friends recommend the pumpkin expresso martinis. The food here is truly fantastic, with a wide variety of options available on the menu. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was excellent. I dined in for lunch, and I found the cost per person to be between $10 and $20. I would rate the food and service both a 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere received a 4. I highly recommend trying the Panini!

Overall, the food was decent, though nothing exceptional. I ordered a hamburger that came with fries for $14.50, which I felt was a bit pricey for a burger, but I suppose that's the current norm. My friend opted for a wrap that cost $18, and it was a generous portion. However, considering the prices, the food didn't impress me enough to warrant a return visit. I was hoping for a more enjoyable experience. The first time we dined here, it was outstanding! However, our recent visit revealed a decline in both customer service and food quality. While I understand that everyone is focused on financial improvements, service and food quality should not suffer. My wife and I are locals and stopped by for lunch. Right away, we were welcomed by a friendly host who complimented the Thunderbird we drove in. My wife ordered the fajita salad, which she absolutely loved; it was so generous that she was able to take some home. I enjoyed the fish sandwich on a roll, which had a substantial amount of fish and a very soft roll. The tartar sauce was excellent, and I appreciated the large portion of fries. Our server, Marlie, was warm and attentive. We definitely plan to return!

So I had stopped here for lunch after a client of mine recommended it to me and I have to say I'm extremely glad that I came. The food was delicious and my picture doesn't do It justice. So after getting my lunch I realized that I had locked my keys in my truck with it running (I'm a goof) so i came in and spoke with the wonderful waitress Kathy who was very polite and friendly and helpful. She let me take up a corner table and assured me that it would be ok and that it was better then waiting in the heat, she even offered me a ice water since it was so hot.
