On the rare occasion it is not for any reason, they make sure they do it right. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it was always worth it! Except we showed up on Tuesday. The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. They claim to be open, but are closed. They also ran out of steaks. It's disappointing because the place is actually charming.

Had the BBQ plate at the salon. The brisket was fantastic, tender like butter and juicy. Staff polite and friendly. They even cooked a pancake for us because we mentioned that we were interested in it. The cake was wonderful.

Good food, friendly service, huge portions and plenty of parking. I wanted to try their buttermilk pie but they forgot to bring it out and instead gave me the check. I didn't want to bother and make the lady feel bad. I'll try it next time!
