"Restaurant 1818 at Monmouth is an absolute jewel of Natchez, MS. We have dined here three times now and every experience has been perfection. The service and food are excellent. The ambiance is extraordinary . I thoroughly enjoy the music softly performed by the live pianist . I feel as though I am transported through time as we dine surrounded by this beautiful historic home that I adore. Thank you to the staff that take such good care of us each time we visit ."

a wonderful culinary experience. beautiful reasons to explore before or after their meal in the antebellum. the dining rooms are exquisite chandeliers, antique furniture, etc. the eating was also five stars. our server, george, was the best friendly and knowledgeable with about 30 years experience. highly recommended!

It was, yet again, a wonderful meal and experience! We had the grilled veal chop, cooked to perfection, and the duck. The sides went perfectly with the meat. Our server Rianna was great! Such a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. We walked the beautiful gardens before dinner, which is a can't miss opportunity. We will be back! View menu

This was our fourth visit to 1818 at Monmouth and each time has been a consistently wonderful experience. The service is excellent. The ambiance is unique and very relaxing . The food never disappoints, I have had the filet , the redfish and the salmon special and all have been equally delicious. I highly recommend 1818 especially for couples looking for a truly romantic and five star dinner experience .

We’ve stayed at Monmouth and eaten there several times. The lamb lollipop and fried green tomato appetizers were DELICIOUS!!! My husband had the filet and said it was good but not as good for the higher price. I had the redfish and it would have been delicious but it was over cooked and very dry. The service was excellent. We know sometimes things are just off. We will return. It’s a beautiful setting. We celebrated our anniversary there.
