"I came here since friends have recommended this place. The reviews claim food like “Michelin” star food. Last night was not what I expected from the food at all. Upon arrival my water glass was dirty. Our waitress was super kind and even checked on the specials that they had. We ordered the following: pretzel bun with truffle butter, paella croquettes, the burger with RIPP fries and the braised short rib. The pretzel bun held up to everyone reviews! The paella croquettes were served cold the first time around and had to be sent back. Both times I did not see any rock shrimp. It was not bad if served correctly. The burger with ripp fries. The ripp fries were delicious perfectly crisp and the burger was okay. The sauce and lettuce was on the bottom bun and it came out soggy. Lastly, the braised short rib. I felt like I was drinking oil with how much oil there was in the dish. Also the amount of onions was ridiculous. The mushroom idea added to the risotto was phenomenal but wish it wasn’t drenched in oil. The ambiance in the back dining room is nice. You will have to use your phone light to see the menu. The garden area for dining in the middle is lovely. The bar had plenty of seats. We also were able to get a seat without reservations. I give this place a 3 for the waitress, vibe and pretzel bun. Also with how busy it was the wait staff did their best to accommodate all tables."

Definitely a great first impression! Everything was delicious, fresh, presented well. My coworker I visited this restaurant after work yesterday to celebrate me closing on my new home

So I had their Burger here and it was actually very good, I also had their fries with the cheese the meaton them, I think it was brisket, and jalapeno peppers and it was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend checking this little sort of hole in the wall place, which is a little more on the upscale side … View menu

The service and the atmosphere tend to vary a bit. But the food is consistently delicious. Their menu, food and drink, is well designed. And even though it's not the closest, hell there are a hundred restaurants between us and Ripplewood, they've managed to get it right every time we've been there no matter the amount of foot traffic or time of day.

Completely unexpected. If you think this is just a run of the mill nice bar, you’re wrong! The food is what I expect from a Michelin star restaurant. Great ambience and the food is culinary genius. My new favorite spot. Not to mention they were short staffed on a packed night but our server Lowe was hustling and tended us perfectly. I only wish they were open later because I would totally be here until midnight on the weekends.

We visited on the early side of happy hour on July 4th weekend and there was plenty of seating. I am not sure if we were just early or if it was the holiday slowing things down, but it did start to pick up as we left. Great food and beer selection. I had an old fashioned which was great and 2 local lagers, all lovely. We had the octopus and the (short rib? cheese fries and both were excellent. I am definitely planning on visiting again, you should as well! View menu

Our very first visit and we had a great date night here. We came in at 7pm on a Friday and they were able to seat us right away. It was January and we sat in their enclosed outdoor area but were comfortable with the numerous heaters. We ordered a number of small plates to share and they were delivered to our table SO fast. The ribs were so good. Our waitress was very attentive and we asked her for suggestions, something I love to do at a new place. The place is cute, down to the wallpaper in the bathroom. The bill came and for three small plates, plus dessert, plus four drinks it was about $120 with tip! Incredible! We had the ricotta donuts and they were delightful. Looking forward to tryin...

I haven’t been to a place as cool as this in a very long time and usually if I did it was within the limits of the city. What an awesome staff and every single one was friendly and professional. The drinks don’t even get me started they were some of the best drinks I’ve ever had and I go to some pretty nice restaurants!!! They know how to mix a drink and they know what flavors to pull together to make drinks both delicious and creative. My only regret is that I didn’t order one of the four meals because the small plates and appetizers were to die for it as well so now I’m taking my wife there this week even though I was just there last week because now I have to try an entire meal! To finish...

"I dined at Cafe Alley with a friend from work while on a business trip. The restaurant had been recommended by some of the locals, and also by another friend from work who had visited previously. We almost didn't stop, because the entrance marked for parking was closed off by a temporary fence, but we investigated further and found our way to parking behind the building. The restaurant is in what appears to have once been a produce warehouse, but it is very clean and well maintained, with the evidence of its former life giving it character. The hosts and servers were pleasant and knowledgeable, and we were waited on promptly. I hade the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and it is not hyperbole to say the it is the best I have ever had. My friend and I both enjoyed our visit, and I would recommend Cafe Alley to anyone visiting the Ardmore area. I plan to eat there again the next time I am in town. Parking: When I visited, there was a sign directing traffic to a parking lot, but the entrance was blocked by a temporary fence. We almost went on without stopping, but we found that, by turning onto a small street at the other end of the building, we were able to find our way to parking behind the restaurant.
