"My son lives in Bayville and had been to Rosie’s twice last year with another couple. It was his birthday and he chose Rosie’s for dinner with his family. We were delighted he did. We started out with 2 charcuterie boards, it had a assortment of delicious cheeses and meats. It also had fruits you could dip honey in. My dinner was short ribs with pasta made in a mushroom sauce, absolutely delicious! It was a large portion so I bought it home to enjoy again. My son and brother had the short ribs, fabulous! My brother is a foodie and enjoys fine dining so he was over the moon enjoying his meal. The other 2 orders were a steak and chicken Milanese burrata. They also make great martinis. The wait staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. The dining atmosphere was comfortable with lovely surroundings. We had a corner table so we were able to enjoy the water views. We had a early reservation of 5:30 pm so when it was time to leave it was dusk and the restaurant had turned on their imitate lighting that begged you to stay longer. We look forward to another dining experience at Rosie’s."

Amazing! Happy to have such a quality restaurant in Oceangate! The atmosphere when you walk in puts you in a great vibe for the evening. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable offering meal suggestions. Cocktails are delicious and heavy pours. Food is outrageously good from appetizers to desert! We gave Rosie’s a bit to get settled last summer, then tried them last fall. Now I have a problem. I’m addicted to Martini Mondays : In reality, both the bar and dining area are wonderful. Two different vibes depending what you are interested in that night! Friendly atmosphere and owners. Give it a try during Happy Hour !! Short rib nachos and a pear martini!! My favorite! So glad my friend invited me to come here last night- amazing food, service, and when we left, I believe we saw the chef rinsing something outside, and a waitress came to ask if he’d like to sing a family happy birthday. He enthusiastically said yes and we heard him excitedly say to his team to get ready to sing happy birthday. Loved to hear the sincerity in his voice, and how genuine his response was. Very surprised upon coming into this little gem in the heart of ocean gate. Not at all what you would expect, even from the outside! It is beautiful on the inside! A fancy, cozy, and elegant little restaurant. And the food is superb! Really nice food options, from the appetizers, to the dinners, and the deserts. They have a nice selection of dessert martinis that are delicious! Not sure how busy this place can get but we went on a Sunday and had no issues with seating. Hopefully this place gets more traction because it is definitely recommended!
