"Matt's Grill was a late night find for a next day lunch, and it was great. The food came out hot, and while some portions were a little small, we did order only appetizers and sides so that can explain why. Service was okay, we weren't on a time crunch so waiting a little wasn't a problem, but it wasn't a quick bite. Overall, lunch was great and totally worth it!"

Great pub near Columbus Circle Good food. Friendly bartenders especially Sean. Open evening to 4 am so is a good place for a late night snack and drink.

My normal place was closed so I looked for another and found you. It was a delightful experience and the bartender was very nice. I'll be back next time I'm in town. Thank you.

Visiting New York last day before you get to the airport, that was Thanksgiving. Everything was great! Bar employees were also very nice and chatting. Anyway, I'd go back next in NY! View menu

The review could have been much more positive if the restaurant had better staffing. The waiter was very kind and accommodating, but unfortunately, he was the only one attending to all the diners.

Mike Nash, the proprietor, is amazing. Embraces the clientele with friendliness and always eager to please. He also treats his staff with the utmost respect. Staff are always pleasant and offer.good service. Good pub food.

What a lovely surprise! Initially, the restaurant seemed a bit too quiet for a Saturday at 5 PM, which made me worry about the quality of the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised—it was fresh and delicious! We will certainly be coming back. View menu

I thought that was more a restaurant. but it is really a bar with a few tables for eating. it's not a bad place. I thought only from the Yelp side it was a raised restaurant, but it was more of a local pub. beautiful people. just not what I expected.

Just a solid Irish bar. Watched a world cup game here and it was perfect, lots of TVs, delicious burgers and nachos. The bartenders are super friendly and cute. Good food, good service good times, and cool artwork on the walls. Good for groups too so bring your friends and enjoy

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
