"If you're looking for a tasty home-cooked meal, this is the place to go. We had some friends over by the pool, and when hunger struck, we decided to order takeout instead of cooking or going out to eat. Initially, we thought about ordering fried chicken, which is excellent, but after looking at the takeout menu, two of us chose the liver and onions—definitely a dish you don't find everywhere. The macaroni and cheese is remarkably similar to my mother's recipe, which is a big plus. They also provide a great selection of greens, including turnip greens, cabbage, and green beans. The desserts are quite delightful too, although I wish the banana pudding was included on the takeout menu. My order was supposed to be ready by 7:30, and when I arrived at 7:25, I found it already packaged and waiting for me on the counter. It was quick and easy, which was exactly what I needed since I was still in my swimsuit."

Someone took me out for Thanksgiving lunch. Roast Beef, Red Potatoes, grilled onions, lettuce tomatoes, seasoned Green Beans, and Mexican Corn Bread. Wonderful food. Well seasoned, clean surroundings, and friendly attentive staff Veteran friendly as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

S S is my favorite place in the cafeteria. It’s a comfortable and affordable option for seniors like me and my friends. They have daily specials and a great selection of fresh, well-prepared salads, delicious hot dishes, side options, and desserts. The chefs and staff are always friendly and ready to assist.

On September 28, I asked for another drink before I even sat down, knowing from past experience that it might take a while, but I didn't receive my drink until my glass was empty. I thought we’d be in a different section this time, but it was the same server again. While the food was great, the slow drink refills are a significant issue for me. Unfortunately, I think I need to find my big baby another favorite restaurant. P.S. We're still waiting for our drink refills today. Just ask Brandon at Golden Corral how efficiently they do it! I had a disappointing experience with takeout after enjoying a wonderful meal at the restaurant. I placed an online order for prime rib, new potatoes, and a muffin, but when I arrived, the staff informed me that they were out of prime rib. After checking the delivery bin, she handed me my order, but to my dismay, it contained neither prime rib nor new potatoes. Everything was cold and overcooked! Instead of prime rib, I received roast beef, and the potatoes were unappealing. The meat was tough and the potatoes were not enjoyable. I believe I deserve a refund for this experience. If I were feeling better, I would return everything!

The food was decent and certainly satisfying when hunger struck. However, it lacked seasoning, so the flavors mostly came from the ingredients themselves. If you have high blood pressure, be careful with the green beans—they were extremely salty, to the point where you could freeze them and use them as salt blocks for local wildlife. The chicken and dumplings were fine, but the macaroni and cheese was overly mushy, making it difficult to distinguish the noodles from the rest of the dish. It could be a good option for groups from nursing homes or those with dental issues. Overall, it was an acceptable first experience, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back.
