This is a great neighborhood gathering and family restaurant The food is amazing but service is average at best especially when they get busy.

We ate dinner here last night with our 18 month old and parents/in-laws, and they could not have been more wonderful to our son (and all of us).

Amazing service and extremely welcoming!! We went here for a quick little date night and had a wonderful time!! The Pork Schnitzel sandwich was so good and the cookie skillet was to die for, especially the vanilla gelato that came with it. Would highly recommend!!Parking: Plenty of parking

So sad I didn’t take a pic of the shrimp taco. Came here for Happy Hour. Such a cute quaint place with great food. I had two Wagyu beef sliders $5 each) and one shrimp taco $6 each) and bread pudding $8.50) served with vanilla Gelato. My wife and I probably dine here twice a month, and SPG is a really charming neighborhood bar and grill. The food is good and the low key atmosphere make it a great hangout. The staff is always friendly and efficient and all the neighborhood locals hang out together, it’s a very inviting pub.Vegetarian options: Great mix of appetizers and main dishes.Parking: Lots of parking on the street or close by parking lot.

I used to come here all the time and the food and service were great. I thought a night out on my own would compensate for the lousy weather we keep having. When I arrived the restaurant was empty but a gentleman came out, brought me water and a menu. I ordered a beer which he served and then disappeared. After a half hour he had not appeared so I got up and asked him for my check. There were three other employees sitting near him. I said that I had felt abandon and he remarked did I think he was going to keep me company? No I responded. He then said that he had a lot of work to do. I can not recommend this place enough! I went today and got a lavender lemonade, which was tangy and delicious! For food, I got chillquilles! They used feta cheese instead of cotija, but they were still delicious. I also had potato skins without bacon to share, which was also good. I would get all three items again (not all at once because I was extremely fully). My mom got the Reuben. She said it was not bad, although she has had better and she probably wouldn't order it again. The atmosphere was also really nice. The venue is much bigger than it looks from the outside.
