"Our experience at this restaurant was awful. Not only were we disrespected by the chef, who made a derogatory comment to one of our group members in front of a family with children, but he also refused to serve him the same food we had all ordered. We were appalled by what we witnessed and even after speaking with the management, it was clear they were not concerned. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and this restaurant does not deserve our patronage. They should reconsider the people they hire if they want to succeed in the competitive restaurant industry."

Best Sushi in the Northwest Suburbs, hands down. The Shiitake Roll is the best tasting Sushi Roll I have ever had! Must order, when you go

I had a fantastic dining experience at Mike Ham's latest restaurant in Algonquin. It's a sushi spot in the northwest suburbs that is definitely worth a visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The hibachi food was very bland and not worth the price. We had to ask the cook to add some salt. In addition , we added some soy sauce, that they gave us with our sushi rolls, to give it some taste. Cook barely spoke English and it was very hard to understand him. We will not be returning

Had a very nice first experience. Open Table reservation was received, with special directions recognized. Service was phenomenal. Our chef was delightful. Loved how the hibachi tables were laid out, with plenty of space. Scallops and the special yum yum sauce as recommended by chef were delicious. So much food. Will return, thanks for a nice end to the week.

We have patronized Kobe for several years. Recently, we decided to give this new restaurant a try. The only dish we found comparable to Kobe was the filet mignon. Unfortunately, the soup, fried rice, shrimp, and other dishes fell short in comparison. The chicken was particularly disappointing, as it was quite dry - we ended up giving it to our dog. This experience taught us a valuable lesson.
