"During a recent business trip to Seaside Heights, I decided to check out The Sawmill after spotting some appealing photos on Google that suggested it was a quiet and somewhat upscale sports bar. However, I found that, despite its sports bar label, the atmosphere was far from tranquil and it didn't have the fancy vibe I anticipated. Instead, I learned that it’s more of a family-friendly restaurant famous for its generous pizza slices. I chose a turkey burger and salad, which were decent but not particularly memorable. The place was lively, bustling with patrons, and the staff were clearly putting in a lot of effort. While it might be a great spot for a quick bite or a slice of pizza, it’s not the ideal choice for an upscale dining experience. The restaurant features a large bar and numerous TVs for sports viewing, plus it's conveniently located near the boardwalk."

We had our private party upstairs, and all the food served was fantastic. There was even pizza in the buffet. While I didn’t have any pizza myself, those who did said it was delicious and would definitely eat there again. View menu

We ordered three different types of pizza, a gyro salad, and cheese fries, and everything was tasty. Our pizza slices were even more visually appealing than some of the ones I've seen in other reviews. We also tried two of the $10 drinks: the blueberry lemonade and the prickly pear margarita. While they had good flavor, they tasted somewhat weak, as if they were watered down.

This place has been consistently great for many years. Very fair on prices and all sorts of weekly special food and drink specials. You never feel gouged when getting the bill like many other places around. Parking: November 1 parking is free until April I think. Sawmill a classic from back in the days I've loved it since I was young ... gotta go, great boardwalk hang out... just had my daughter's wedding upstairs at the Pavilion, I'm going to say we had the best time ever the room was decorated absolutely beautiful the food was outstanding, I would like to thank the staff of The Sawmill for being so courteous and so polite during the affair they went out of their way to please everyone I would like also to thank Mr Ron Rinaldi and his assistants for making it all possible for a very special day thank you so much may God bless all of you at The Sawmill.
