"go to the restaurant for me and mean man. for our date night (we are 39 years married) as always, a great meal with excellent service. used a group. the cocktail waitress is a jewel like our server abbey. would recommend this restaurant of family and friends in a heartbeat. the lighting is a little dim when they enter, but their eyes quickly adapt. french wobble suppe is a must order article. husband has the shrimp cocktail and he enjoyed it very much. we both had the steak special, that should be 10 ounces, but was closer to 1 pound! so good. reservations are recommended as this place is busy! enjoy!"

service was good. we sat right away. waiter was warm and helped us with the menu. steak was cooked to order and came out hot. a pleasant evening.

The restaurant is dated and needs updating food and service were ok but the menu selections was limited. We were the only people in the entire restaurant on a Friday at noon so either no one knows that they're opened or people are deciding to go to other restaurants in the area

it is an old standard for us and it is very comfortable. I had the main rib and it was perfectly cooked and it was a great cut. that is not always the case. what is consistent is the service. our server michael was fantastic. he was pleasant, professional and was just a great person. they also wear a beautiful kendal jackson taxi at a reasonable price.

This is a local classic restaurant that never fails to please. A great alternative to the crowded and noisey chain steakhouses. Our server, Joe was very professional and spirited. He was so knowledgeable of not only the food, but the history of the place. Our steaks were done to perfection, the apps were exceptional and dessert was to die for. the restaurant and the open table reservations were an absolute color. when we came to the restaurant, they would not honor our reservation, showed them the confirmation and email and they said they did not have the reservation and refused to sit. they said we had to wait 25 minutes and we left. we celebrated a special birthday and ruined our evening. they would not stand on the table or recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Father’s Day All ordered prime rib. Meat tasted stale. Never heard of specials yet heard from another wait staff at another table what they were understand it was after NYS opened for dinner but why did they even check reservations for how many people were coming in. Had no one to talk to as check was dropped off and wait staff was gone. Thank goodness we paid cash Daughter myself and the papa was so disappointed. Seriously it was always our go to restaurant. I doubt if we will ever go back
