"We ate at Sebago Brewing Company since we could not get a table or reservation at any other restaurant close by in the Old Port. Despite the pandemic, the area seemed crammed with people. We were seated almost immediately in a booth in a back room (looked like a private dining with most of the tables removed) which felt safer. My husband took advantage of their large selection of craft beers and had two Frye's Leap IPAs. He is a Grateful Dead fan wanted a Scary Garcia, but they were out of it. He had a bowl of clam chowder and Korean Beef bowl and I had a Lobster Roll minus the roll. They put it on large lettuce leaves which I liked. Simple pub food service were good."

It's been 7 years since we were here, but the craft beer selection is just as good as ever, my drink was great and the service was good as well. Sat at the bar but didn't eat.

The waitress was extremely friendly and really attentive. We ordered the black bean burger which we split and it was huge. Nothing bad to say about the beer. Highly Recommended!

waited forever to get our drink orders because our server was too busy to delete their tables first. after about 15 minutes waiting to put in drinks order, she told us that the kitchen also closes in 15 minutes. much better service in their other facility.

We were so thankful to find this restaurant in Portland on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm. It was the only place with parking and didn't require a reservation. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and lovely. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We were in town for our wedding and needed to accommodate 16 people for rehearsal dinner. We called Sebago two weeks prior to our date and from my first conversation with Andrew the whole process and dinner was seamless. We were seated in a back room area and our waitress was perfect. Everyone LOVED their food and were very pleased with the whole experience. View menu

a restaurant that is connected to a hotel is usually nothing spectacular, and that is valid in the case of sebago in the city of portland (together with the hampton). eating is at best ok. vermont türkei and apfel sandwich ok more brot than filling. the edible butter cake was moderate and you could say that it had been frozen before serving. if they are super hungry and they are in the hotel, it is not the worst, but it is not fantastic. go a few feet and they will have many good opportunities. positiw was the staff very friendly.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
