"This is my go to place to eat in Baton Rouge. I travel an hour just to eat there. I love the food and the atmosphere. David is impeccable each time we go and does whatever he can to fulfill even the strangest request. I’m a vegetarian but I have tried the gyro and Schwarma and it’s amazing. The grape leaves are the best I’ve ever had and the falafel is hard to beat."

Real Mediterranean food. I like most of their dishes. Especially seafood.

Gnarly food poisoning from Serop's the chicken schwarma. I implore you, reader, to reconsider your choice of restaurant this evening.

Expensive but absolutely delicious. The chicken shawarma came with a generous salad, a sizeable portion of hummus, and a bag of pita. View menu

I tend to stop in one of the Serop's locations every time I visit Baton Rouge. This time we ate in for lunch. It's traditional Greek — healthy and huge portions.

The food was decent, but I wouldn't consider it traditional Lebanese cuisine. The kibbeh lacked flavor, and the meat on the hummus resembled taco meat. The shawarma was tasty, though it didn't have the authentic Lebanese flavor—still, it was enjoyable.
