"I really wanted to like this, esp since it was a 4.7 with 183 reviews. Its a small place which adds to its charm, the service surpringinly was not that good, i think because they sat like 50% of the tables down at the same time. The food, honestly, nothing really stood out, the sauce was good, but every dish was missing something. I would say the sourdough bread was very good. I really really really wanted to like this place, but it fell short. The best thing about this place is the prices, for NYC it is extremely reasonable, and if you end up really like the food, then its a home run, i just did not think the food lived up to a 4.7."

Instantly obsessed. Top pasta I’ve had ever. The taste of the red sauce is next level.

Really good neighborhood spot. Everything was great wine, atmosphere, service, food. The squid ink pasta and pistachio fusilli were both incredible, we’ll definitely be back!

Our new neighborhood spot! Delicious, authentic Italian food served up by owner Marco. BYOB with $19 corkage fee or there is a well-priced wine menu. Couldn’t recommend more. Will be back with friends and family. View menu

Extremely delicious. Highly recommend the penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce (not officially on the menu). Perfectly al dente pasta, and bright/rich tomato sauce. It?s a dish you?ll be craving for weeks afterward.

Fantastic Italian Cafe, possibly the best in Manhattan. Their dishes are authentic yet unique. The owner and staff are attentive and proud of their offerings. Outside seating on a low key side street. Highly recommended. Local tip...bring your own wine.

Absolutely amazing. The food is authentic, the quality superb and the taste simply awesome. This is REAL Italian food. The owner is a great person who cares about customer experience and what he is doing. The charming and cosy vibe is a hub for a long-time neighbourhood customer base of huge Spiga fans. View menu

Super cute, super quality authentic Italian hole in the wall. They recently changed ownership and the food is absolutely ELITE. The pesto fusilli, fettuccine bolognese, and steak were the highlights for us. Most of their pastas flour are imported from Italy. I would also not read into the To Go too much eating there in person is the optimal experience without a doubt. Spiga has become our new go to for Italian on the west side. Major shoutout!!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at in NYC. So genuine and authentic, the place is small and cozy which I love! Made me feel like I was in Italy (and lived there for a while). The owner, Marco, was so kind and attentive, as was the rest of the staff. 10/10 highly recommend to anyone, although do make a reservation bc it fills up quickly! Very good prices for NYC we spent $90 (after tax/tip) per person with wine and starters, but if you go in for a quick bite you can easily do that for $30. Look forward to coming back again soon!
