Steak 'n Shake - Menu

they should rename it steak n never. that's all. the shake is in your name? Why didn't you shake? sheesh.

Order was hot, incorrect and uneatable due to my hating the sauce! Everything else was correct, hot fries. I recommend you avoid this exit both Steak n Shake and Bob Evans can not get an order correct! Going away hungry to visit another exit.

burger was good, but had a tomate who had a piece of core in it, and the wobble rings were all broken. service was incredibly slow. I understand that they were busy and apparently were short-time employees, but we were on a trip and hoping to stop for a faster one. View menu

Absolutely unacceptable. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. There was no one available to clean the tables, floors, or the kiosks. Every table was dirty. Customers are required to touch the kiosk screen to place their orders, and then handle the sandwiches. It's a recipe for spreading germs.

Ruhe is not clean. The walls haven't been properly maintained, and there was urine on the toilet seats. Customers have to wait an unusually long time to pay; I counted eight people waiting at the register. And what's with the toilet paper? I heard it was thin, but this is ridiculous—it feels like it's made of cotton candy! Come on, Steak 'n Shake isn't that inexpensive.

I really enjoy the Frisco Melt at this restaurant. The fries were hot and delicious. I was disappointed when I found out they were out of onion rings - it would have been helpful to know that before ordering at the kiosk. The atmosphere is lacking and it was uncomfortably cold inside. Additionally, most of the tables were dirty - it seems like they're not being wiped down by the staff. View menu

This place was disgusting! Even after using 6 of our cleaning whips there still was food in crevices. the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week the dirt and food was caked on. The high chair we had to put a blanket in because it had so much food. I will never eat here again and it is my wife's favorite place to eat now it's just a run down mediocre stop. The food was ok but the experience was horrible.

The woman who delivered my shakes didn't come to the counter, she just took my name and left. I wanted to ask for a drink carrier but she was already gone. My food wasn't ready so I had to wait for that. I waited over 10 minutes and finally someone put my food on the counter. They apologized for marking it off, thinking it was for delivery. Then they ran off before I could say anything. The food was cold and disappointing. For $30 worth of food, it was a waste. They need to improve their service.

I was surprised to discover that Steak 'n Shake no longer has waitstaff. When a group of six of us went in for dinner, I had to place the orders myself for everyone. They no longer offer malts, salads were unavailable, the pepper juice bottles on the tables were missing, and there was no cherry Coke flavoring. The steak burgers were overly seasoned, and the hamburger buns were disappointing. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I can’t see myself returning.
