Sterlings Seafood Steakhouse

Pretty good, but not the best in town. You can feel the desperation since the announced closing. It just wasn't right. The staff was probably feeling a little unloved by the changes. Oh well. Had the Bone in Ribeye. No bone, but it was cooked as requested. Caesar Salad was good. They ran out of the Carano Wine we wanted I thought that was weird. We'll try again when it's Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in December.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant because we just finished our late lunch at 4pm and we had to reserve a table for dinner at 5:30pm (they didn't have any other available times on Sunday, so we didn't have a choice). We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 desserts, and we were absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was - it was definitely the best we've ever tasted. Our waiter, Larry, was incredibly nice, friendly, and professional, exceeding our expectations. We wish you all the best, Larry, in your life. You have to try the Flambé that the chef made for us - it was expertly done. We will definitely be returning to try the entrees when we are back in Reno next year.

This place is so good I forgot to take pictures haha and I was extremely hungry. We came to Reno for a quick turnaround Work trip. We wanted some really good steak and this place looked like the best yet. We tried the bone in rib eye and the petite filet mignon. We had Alfredo, mushrooms, clam chowder and a Cesar salad. This restaurant maintains fine dining standards with a variety of entrees including options of clam chowder or a house salad. The house salad is presented creatively in a sweet cake shaped like Wonder Woman's tiara. The creamy Italian and ranch dressings are decadent and served on the side in their own little boats. The red venison with spaetzle was expertly cooked, with a cherry reduction and fried kale adding to the dish. We called for last minute on Saturday evening for reservations and had no trouble getting the time we requested. Located on the second floor of the Silver Legacy, its right in heart of the action. Damn! This place is awesome! I went here the other day with my girlfriend, and we had $200 in casino comps and figured why the **** not . I checked out the menu online and my eyes widened. $49 for a rib eye steak! Damn! it better be good! Put on a polo shirt, and arrived. This was amazing! I booked our reservations through Open Table and in the comments mentioned it was our fifth year wedding anniversary. When we showed up, about 20 minutes prior to our reservation, we were promptly seated. We were seated at a nice booth, decorated with confetti and a nice card from the management. How does this place have 4.5 stars? I mean, I get it, Reno itself has a lower standard because people don 't come here for glamour--they come because it 's close (to NorCal) and cheap! Based on my experience here, which will be my only and last, this place is nowhere close to 4.5 stars! Why? 1) Service is SLOW. If you disagree with this, then service is inconsistent.
