"On another occasion, I brought a group of friends, and one of them has a severe nut allergy. We made sure to inform the staff, yet she had an allergic reaction after eating a Caesar salad. What kind of Caesar salad has nuts in it? We had to rush her to the hospital in Chelan. They did comp our meal, which was appreciated, but we also overheard the table next to us mention that their child had a nut allergy too, and I hope they managed to avoid any issues! It's crucial for servers to know which dishes contain nuts. Clearly, the kitchen and front-of-house staff are not communicating effectively. We decided to give Sunset another shot recently, since we couldn’t find another nice restaurant that could accommodate a large group reservation. Once again, it was a disaster. Our drink orders were mixed up multiple times, and our table was ignored for extended periods. Plus, the bickering between the kitchen and servers was evident again. The only employee who appears to have it together is Carl, the bartender, who is great. So, Sunset, please get your act together. You can't always rely on one-time vacationers. To win over the local crowd, you need a cohesive menu, excellent service, and consistently high-quality food. Help us fall in love with you!"

The Burrata appetizer was incredible! Everything is made in-house, including the sauces and chips. Each dish we ordered was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5!

We're so glad we discovered this restaurant! The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was warm and friendly, making the experience even better. It was a wonderful night and a delicious meal shared among three good friends. View menu

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and pleasing lighting, but the service was incredibly slow, despite it not being a busy night. I ordered the baked pasta, which turned out to be the saltiest dish I've ever encountered—completely inedible. At least the Caesar salad was decent.

We started with the tacos as an appetizer, but they were soggy and not enjoyable at all. The highlight of the meal was the salads we ordered next. Unfortunately, the entrees, both pasta dishes, were overly salty. My husband couldn't even finish his Cajun pasta, while I struggled through my bolognese simply because I was hungry, though it was far from good. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and only wish we had saved our money.

We came here on with a group of 6 on a Saturday night with a reservation. When we went to order we advised that one of our party had a tree nut allergy but the server said they could not serve her anything as they recently had another problem with this. We have actually never experienced this! Nut allergies are not uncommon and restaurants usually have an option. We asked for the other meals to to be boxed up to go and the server did accommodate that quickly, it was just a disappointing end to a great day on the lake and in Manson : Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 View menu

To make matters worse, the bartender openly complained about his low tips, and his attitude when he served our meals was far from friendly; he clearly doesn't belong in the hospitality industry. On my way to the restroom, I noticed plates of partially eaten food carelessly left on tables along the path. Our waitress was friendly but the service overall was mediocre. We ended up spending $86, which felt more appropriate for dive bar food at best—more on the garbage end of the spectrum. I would not recommend this place and certainly won’t be returning. My husband and I visited this restaurant with our two boys and two friends for a nice dinner. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by an older woman with short blonde hair who seemed quite annoyed. She asked if we had a reservation, and when we replied that we did not but would be happy to sit anywhere, even outside, she informed us that the indoor seating was full and that we couldn't sit outside due to a lack of shade in the outdoor area. This was simply not true, as we had noticed that the outdoor space was actually shaded and empty as we walked in. It's disappointing that she chose to deceive us like that. It’s surprising and disheartening to experience such dishonesty. Overall, I woul...

"We ordered a selection of beers and wines, some appetizers, and entrées. While I didn't manage to get feedback from everyone in our group, here are a few highlights from my own experience: The zucchini fries were hot, fresh, and served in a generous portion! I also heard good things about the pulled pork poutine; although I didn't try the pork, the fries topped with cheese curds and gravy were delicious. They have uniquely textured fries here—starchier and sturdier than usual, which is hard to describe. The Reuben sandwich had a nice rye flavor and was quite decent overall. The coleslaw, however, was served warm and not very appealing; perhaps it got heated from being on a hot plate? The Southwest Caesar salad featured a surprisingly spicy dressing that seemed to have jalapeño blended in, giving it a unique twist. I ordered the fried fish tacos, choosing onion rings as my side from several options available. The tacos came with two large portions of fish, but I found the flour tortillas underwhelming—thick and somewhat spongy, reminiscent of cheap grocery store brands. The mango salsa was on the sweeter side, and I would have appreciated a touch of lime or something to add a bit of tartness, but overall the tacos were quite impressive. The onion rings were pleasantly sweet as well. In summary, the food here offers good value, and some members of our group even took growlers home. The atmosphere felt more restaurant-like than brewery, which was a nice surprise!"
