"I recently visited a restaurant in Harbor East, and I think it would be even better if they offered family-style dining, so that guests could sample more dishes together. We started with the salmon bruschetta as an appetizer and then had the splashed pasta paired with American Wagyu strip steak for our main course, along with a side of broccolini. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the broccolini was beautifully spiced with red pepper. The pasta was a truly unique combination of flavors that made a perfect addition to our meal."

The service was below expectations and left much to be desired, but the food was outstanding.

The food was incredible, but there was a long wait of over 35 minutes between the salads and the main course. The dining area has a lounge vibe that isn’t ideal for intimacy and can be quite noisy.

The service and the food were absolutely fabulous. The calamari dish was unusual and tasty! We also had the squid ink pasta with crab meat and the special rockfish. Both of these dishes were amazing. It’s a little bit pricey, and extremely loud inside, but such a great experience otherwise

Phenomenal! This was my birthday dinner location and I loved it. The food it incredible I loved the salmon bruschetta and lobster ravioli. We did half portions as we don’t have that big of an appetite and this worked well as we devoured everything! The place was packed on a Thursday night and now I understand why. 5/5 stars! View menu

We have been here many times and have loved the food and experience. This time was no different for the food! But at three separate points in the meal we were asked if we needed boxes. All of these points were while we were still eating. I think it was pretty obvious that we were not finished. I love this restaurant and will continue to come back but it did leave a weird feeling about the dinner. We felt as though we were being rushed out.

We have eaten here many times. The reason we come back is the excellent food. This time our favorites were not on the menu. The web page had our favorites so when we got to the restaurant and found none of our four favorites were no longer available, we choose other selections. Please update your website. The table we were given was next to the curtain and I was bumped plenty of times. The noise level was as though I was at the Ravens game. Maybe have a less noisy section?

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
