My husband and I have been here for the wedding day for two years! The food is spectacular! The service is fabulous, it is definitely a great place to celebrate life and have a nice meal! The cocktails are the bomb!!!

Took a short trip to Massachusetts and stopped in for some good eats the food was amazing as well as our service. The lobster roll was to die for and my husband got the steak which I know he enjoyed he barely talked me while eating

Everything was perfect! We had an amazing experience celebrating a birthday. Olga is an amazing server. Usually she tends bar, but we were blessed to have them as our server on Friday night. Phenomenal restaurant with a great atmosphere! I recommend getting the Hub Punch, its basically two drinks for the price of one $16). The food is delicious; a favorite of mine is the steak tartare! The service is always friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

What an awesome night. We celebrated a birthday dinner, it was so relaxing and enjoy such a beautiful evening. Service is excellent, food outstanding, wine list is impeccable. Thank you for a great experience......some nights the restaurant can be noisy....but we went on a Sunday, still busy but relaxing atmosphere. We always go thee for special occasions. You won’t be disappointed.

Went for our Anniversary and mentioned this in passing to the bartender (who was awesome at customer service and beyond attentive!! Dinner was superb- service was excellent and we never felt rushed. We ate at the bar- atmosphere was perfect and not noisy at all. Food was cooked to perfection and the attention to detail was spot on. The little touches made it even better. This place is a solid 4.5. We had a great time. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was nice. The steaks were EXCELLENT. The cook on both the skirt steak and the prime rib (medium rare for both) was spot on. The sides were prepared with as much care as the entrees. I left fuller than I have been in a long time. So much so that about three bites into my Sunday of the month, I looked at my husband and said this was a mistake but kept eating. The drinks were just as good. All around delicious food, great experience. Highly recommend for a date night or even just drinks at the bar!

Went for lunch, the food was alright, but everything else was really slack. There 's a speaker practically next to every table blasting music, the table we were at was so dark you couldn 't see, the waitress gave our water then disappeared for like 15 minutes before coming back and acting like she had just been there, said there would be no upcharge for salad instead of fries then came back and said there would be (not everyone can or wants to eat french fries, there should be a free healthier choice), never asked what kind of dressing I wanted for salad, food took a while and it wasn 't that busy, waitress again disappeared for a while, never asked if we wanted dessert, kept saying beautifu...

My wife and I choose another restaurant to dine every anniversary and this year we chose the Bancroft. We enjoyed Gibbet Hill before and hoped that this would correspond to this experience. We arrived early for our reservation and were asked if we wanted to sit what we did. Our server Bob is great and was very helpful to explain the cocktails and the restaurant. He brought the Parker house rolls that are some of the best reels we have ever enjoyed. Our appetizers were the shrimp cocktail and Clam Chowder, both wonderful.
