"We left and returned again at 4:15. This time, the same woman we had spoken to before acted as if she didn’t recognize us at all. There was no greeting or acknowledgment; she simply said, "We’re all out of food except for a tray of turkey and some gravy." I thought she must be joking and questioned how this could happen. How had other customers received their food while we were left waiting all afternoon? She mentioned they had plenty of macaroni and cheese, which wasn’t even on our order and wasn’t what we wanted. I couldn’t believe it. As I grasped the reality of the situation, I felt tears streaming down my face. I repeatedly asked how our food could have been given away and why we hadn’t been notified instead of making three trips back and forth. Her response was simply, "I was too busy." This is no way to run a business. Although some of the other staff attempted to apologize, it felt hollow at this point. I had people to cook for, and finding out 2.5 hours after my scheduled pickup time that they couldn’t provide the food was utterly ridiculous. Instead of enjoying my birthday, I ended up food shopping and prepping a meal that should have been ready for us. To make matters worse, throughout our questioning and arguing, the chef remained seated, saying absolutely nothing. There was no eye contact, no explanations, no apologies—just silence. This restaurant was disorganized, unprofessional, and incredibly disappointing. I will never return. It was supposed to be a special family tradition, and it turned into a major letdown while I was trying to support a small business."
