"There should be a zero stars option. DO NOT under any circumstances order from this place if you want to be charged money for food that is NEVER delivered and be treated like trash in the process (don't complain later, you've been warned).I decided to give this place a chance and ordered from them for the VERY FIRST time via Seamless. What a miserable mistake that was. Of course, the order NEVER arrived, and of course, when I called to inquire about the order an incredibly argumentative guy answered the phone and said his delivery guy had dropped it and taken a picture. I told the guy a million times that no one ever ringed my apartment so that I could grant access to the building and that there was NOTHING outside of my apartment door, but he just kept speaking over me and treating me as if I my only goal was to steal a meager piece of chicken from him. Who knows where the his delivery guy dropped my order but it sure as hell was NEVER delivered to me.I hanged up the phone as I refused to spend more time trying to convince the guy that they were actually charging me for something I never received. I contacted Seamless and they were shocked at how bad this was handled by the restaurant and how sketchy the whole thing was. They immediately gave me a full refund. Won't ever order from this nightmare of a place.Don't do it. There's much better and more reliable options in the area."

Last time I was here I raved about the everything flat bagel w/ cream cheese and lox, today they sampled a lavender honey latte… it was amazing flavorful and not too sweet.

Foods are simple but delicious, coffee is nothing special but the cheese pocket is to die for. Other foods are also delicious .The place is nice and clean . Workers are always with smile.

This is a fantastic place with an excellent selection of tasty drinks and food! I would give it five stars, but I'm deducting one because they don't offer any gluten-free options. I suggest adding gluten-free pastries, bagels, and bread or wraps to the menu!

Extremely overpriced. Tiny portions. They will nickel and dime you for everything. A slide of Turkey and two spoons of vegetables is $19. Also asked for a splash of soy milk in my coffee (literally said a splash) and they said that would be another $2.The food itself is fine, it's just extremely overpriced for a mouselike portion. Veritable has been my neighborhood staple for morning coffee and breakfast for over 3 years now. They always have great coffee, sandwiches, and pastries, with new and seasonal menu items always on rotation. One caveat, it does get really busy during the morning rush. I’m bummed to be moving away and losing this spot as part of my morning routine!

They skimp on the portions and only warm it briefly on a flat-top grill—about 30 seconds—resulting in burnt vegetables as if they had left them on too long. Today, when I walked in, there were only scraps left during lunch hour, which is usually the busiest time. I didn't even bother to order. I’m not willing to pay $14.99 plus tax for chicken and two half-sides—barely full portions. I’d rather spend an extra $2 and go somewhere else that’s more satisfying.
