"Server was slow. Forgot to put in my beer and visited the table very infrequently. She was too busy chatting with someone she knew that was dining at the restaurant. Told her that I didn't want to order lobster ravioli when I found out it didn't come with sides and ordered the chicken gnocci instead only to find I was charged ala carte for the sides I asked for with my chicken gnocci when I got the bill. I asked why she didn't tell me chicken gnocci didn't come with sides either, and she had no answer. I wanted her to take the sides off the bill and she wouldn't. So I deducted the price of the sides from the normal 20% I would tip. Drinks were overpriced. 1 app, 2 meals, and 2 drinks over $100. Chicken gnocci was mid and scalding hot from sitting under the heat lamp in the window. You can get a much better meal, more food and drinks, and better service at Longhorn or even Applebees with $70-$80 not $100+."

Casual anniversary dinner for two less than memorable. 6 oz fillets were less than the quality we expected old and chewy for med rare selection; 'new ' wafflecut sweet potato fries replaced great fingerling variety we last enjoyed. Service was too casual and few and far between. Noise level was annoying! We enjoy it here outdoor atmosphere; inside left a lot to be desired.

Went with our grandson, home from college. The Walnut Grill is a very nice place to eat, have some drinks to watch football. We sat in the bar area with our waiter being the bartender. Great service and knowledgeable about the menu. Would go back. The only issue I have was the hostess, very rude seemed put out when we told her we had reservations. It was like she didn’t want to her job, by greeting people nicely when they walk in for dinner. They need someone who will give the 1st impression of welcome and thanks for coming to our restaurant.
