One of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. The food has such a 'home-cooked ' taste, much like Okaasan no Aji that I crave. There is a nice variety and the menu regularly changes. Service is very friendly and if you like beer or sake, the selection is perfect. View menu

If I'm in the East Village, I'm likely to have dinner here. Authentic Japanese but not a sushi restaurant (though there is sushi on the menu). Delicious, friendly, relaxed and open late. I think the full menu is until 11 pm and then the late night menu is until 2 am!

This is our third visit, and the dining experience is consistently excellent and unique. The foie gras sushi is phenomenal, and honestly, every dish we tried was outstanding. The service is both polite and attentive. While it's not inexpensive, it definitely feels very special.
