"I am sooooo in love with this place!! I rarely write reviews on any of my dining experiences, but but everything we ordered at Amelie was amazing and the service was exceptional. The guys that work here are all so friendly and go above and beyond to make your dining experience the very best. We had both types of oysters offered as part of the daily special, escargot, mussels, cheese/charcuterie plate and the creme brulee for dinner and every dish was spectacular. They continuously refill a bag of delicious baguette slices and the cocktail that I ordered called the Lady Grey was the very favorite (boyfriend also loved his classic manhattans) During our dinner, two different servers were finishing up their shifts and both stopped by our table to thank us and say farewell before heading out the door. You could tell this was a genuine act of friendliness on both their parts and not part of any routine that they were trained to do This place is such a gem, I can't wait to get back here soon for a night out with my girls!"

We received a text message at 10am informing us that the restaurant would not be open until 12pm, so we had to change our plans and are looking forward to visiting on our next trip. View menu

bar area was packed and restaurant seemed full with a line from the door when we arrived. However, the host came through the line asking if someone had reservations and if we were confirmed we were sitting on time. the service was fast, but did not feel rushed, and although sitting close together, you could have a conversation without screaming

Upon our arrival, the bar area was crowded and there was a line out the door, indicating that the restaurant itself was also very busy. Despite this, the hostess approached the line to inquire about reservations, and once ours was confirmed, we were promptly seated. The service was efficient, yet not hurried, and although the tables were closely packed together, we were still able to have a normal conversation without having to raise our voices.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
