"I never knew this hidden jewel was on Washington Street. I mentioned it a few times and definitely driven it. I decided to find where it was and go to eat! A group of three for dinner last night. I never tasted an apple wine I liked, but decided to go for it. I have half-sweet and a friend made the flight. You can choose all 4 cedars and they are $2.75 per. I think that's a lot. Mine was very good and I drank all the glass. Surprises me. His favorite was the Sunset with cherries in it. I wish I had tried. The other three are half-sweet, Margarita and the fleeting youth. He enjoyed everyone. WOOD. If you? ve has seen any of my post you know I (we go hard. Tonight we chose 3 appetizers: the frits with the choice of 3 diving sauce. We can't make a choice, so all six. Here was my preference 1. Atomic Senf(Leps and tied over the rest 2. Ketchup 3. Pesto 4. Spicy Ranch 5. Garlic Aoili 6. Lime Crema Next we got the boiled eggs and the Brussels spits. The eggs had a mild taste and I loved adding fried cups on the top. The star of this plate was the pickled onions. I don't know what they're using to get them, but I want to drink it. I seriously think I could eat a whole bowl of it. The pickles on the plate were pretty sharp, but good. The Brussels sprouts were fried. The outside was crisp, but the inside was still soft. I think they're really good. They used one of their cedar to make a gastric sauce to coat it. So far everything's perfect. Time to order the Entrees. A few of us could choose?t so we decided to get each two so we could try all things. I chose the fish special, the halibut, the pickled onions, and Shaved Brussels sprouts with cherry tomatoes and the Bugolgi beef noodle dish. The bowl had pickled mushrooms(yum! bulgolgi beef, runny egg, kimchi, green onions, and broccolini atopnudeln. Another person in my party ordered the burger of the moment who was a patty melt with the vegan 3 beans chili and also the scallops and risotto. The third person wanted the smoked rib with wild mushrooms and potatoes and onions. Here?s the stolper was?. a medium-sized rare steak order came well done. The potatoes, mushrooms and onions were good. Instead of waiting, another steak decided to get the cider brat chicken sandwich. A braided chicken with carmelised onions, smoked Gouda and honey mustard. All Entrees were delicious(minus das Steak. If I had a winner, the Halibut will turn off. It had a beautiful crust on the top and excellent taste. Subtle, but enchanting. The scallops were delicious. Risotto was lemon flavor on your reference. Cider Brat Chicken had crispy bread and a nice balance of the other ingredients. The Bugolgi dish was also good. I didn't try the patty melt, but the chili has a nice little spices on it. Not hot. Great restaurant! Our waitress, Carson, was fantastic — she seemed like a seasoned pro in the service industry, even though she isn't. The service was truly outstanding, and the food was delicious as well!

The food was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant was clean and beautifully designed, making for a wonderful experience overall. The only challenge was finding parking where I felt secure, as well as locating the entrance. However, now that I'm familiar with the area, I can't wait for my next visit!

The food was amazing! The drinks were also excellent. The restaurant itself was clean and pleasant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The only downside was finding parking without worrying about being towed, and locating the entrance. However, now that I'm familiar with it, I can't wait to stop by again the next time I'm in town.

The cedar dish and crispy fries were delightful! The sunset tart cherry drink was an excellent afternoon choice, perfectly balancing sweetness and dryness. The fries are truly the highlight of Ash and Elm—crispy and accompanied by fantastic sauces. However, I found the charcuterie board to be a bit disappointing; it only included a piece of cheese, which was a letdown. I don't think it justified the $20 price tag. View menu

Ash Elm is a fun place. Amazing cider. Well thought out cocktails and menu with quite a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Elote fritters and Devilled eggs is a must try. Ratatouille and the eggplant sandwich is good but can be better. Donuts were not that exciting and also it took very long at not so busy time. We absolutely loved the cider especially the tamarind ones. It?s a perfect place to hangout with friends and a nice cider time!

I enjoyed some delicious cider and crispy fries—what more could you ask for? The sunset tart cherry cider was an excellent choice for an afternoon drink, perfectly balancing sweetness and dryness. The fries are definitely the highlight of Ash and Elm; they are incredibly crispy, and the dipping sauces are fantastic. However, the charcuterie board was a letdown. It only had one piece of cheese, which was quite disappointing, especially considering it was priced at $20. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it.

This is a good restaurant. We did not have reservations but since it was a week day, we were able to get seats quickly. The new menu is very good with enough vegetarian options. The Elote Fritters are a must have. The Grilled Eggplant sandwich is good as well although the fries were too salty and soggy. The donut holes were the most disappointing though. The cider selection is great and we loved both of our drinks. Since this is a new spot, once the kinks are worked out, everything else would fall in place. View menu

Very friendly, competent staff (props to Camille). The cider is, as you would hope, fantastic. My girlfriend and I each enjoyed a flight?dry for her, sweet for me. Every single one was delicious. Then an appetizer of fried elotes fritters (a great mix of cornmeal sweet corn with a dusting of cotijas, chili powder, and lime). I had the corvina (fried white fish with creamed spinach pickled red onions) that was light and delicious. My girlfriend had the vegan sloppy Joe (lentils and quinoa) with vegan cheese (very glad they had that available) which was the right mix of sweet and savory. We ended up grabbing their cider of the month 12 pack (I know what's going in my stocking this year) too. R...

It?s everything I?ve loved about Ash Elm in an incredible new facility! So much more parking, better location and loads more space for sampling and sipping with friends! For those who are unfamiliar, Ash Elm is Indy?s best cidery, in my opinion. Their standards include a full range from dry to sweet with lots in between, and they all have a refreshing, fruit-forward flavor that you look for in a good cider. Plus their seasonal offerings are always unique and delicious! The hot mulled cider is one of my annual favorites, so I hope it comes back this winter. With the new location, I?m so glad to see more food offerings, including a few entrees to go along with the sandwiches. The menu isn?t ex...

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."
