8$ for 3 little pieces of meat. And i unfortunately ordered extra meat — so 16$ for this. Service was poor at best but I know this is a thankless job in a difficult industry so I always tip, even though this was takeout. But this is easily the worst Greek food restaurant I've been to. Welcome to my first night in Charleston.

We ordered spanakopita and moussaka both of which were not available. Tried the appetizer spanakopita was a disappointment— dry and tasteless. The chicken Gyro that I substituted for the moussaka chicken was in very large pieces and very dry and chewy. The extra tsatsiki that we ordered as a side was watery is if somebody poured some milk in sour cream plus we were charged for it. We’re sorry we didn’t speak up. We will never be coming back

The downsizing changed the menu/service and not for the better. The Greek potatoes are not available, the salad changed to $9 and the salad dressing was very watery and not same quality, the bread did not come with oil but more of a broth for dipping and we asked for oil and got it but without the extra seasonings. The pizza was great as usual. This has been our favorite restaurant. Have been a long time customer and enjoyed a lot of great meals. Thanks View menu

I can't believe I'm writing this review. I was excited to see Athens reopened in its new location. The customer service was A+, as it had been; however, the food, not so much!! I ordered the Chicken Gyro Platter and was extremely disappointed. The potatoes had little to no seasoning, and the chicken was flavorless, dry, and overcooked. I realize this is the first day, after a long absence, but this had been one of my favorite restaurants. I am truly heartbroken.

I have been a patron of Athens for the better part of 30 years now. Their pizza is among the best in Charleston. I now live more than 30 minutes away, but we are willing to make the drive just for their food.
