"The service was spectacular from April, although we were a party of six. She's a jewel! The vegan entrée of Tofu, which I wanted, is actually prepared with a honey glaze. It is indicated as such on the menu and so I asked if it was actually made with an animal product/novegan as it was also listed as vegan. Our server confirmed it was with the cook and the sous cook. She said they were surprised to recognize this caffeine, so I hope they create a new vegan glaze for the dish. Then it would be perfect. It's nice to see vegan options, so I'm glad they're trying. We were first told that there is no place where we could sit down in the tavern (one who had recently suffered a blow that has cancer, a 92yo and a 83yo). But since the majority of our party literally couldn't do the stairs (and there is no elevator), he suddenly found a table in the tavern, which was set for six and empty. I think he could have given out the energy to try something harder in the first place, instead of just not feeling what seemed to be his only challenge with the subject. Overall, we had a wonderful lunch that celebrated life. Would recommend."
