"We did a buyout of Bacchus's wine room (for cocktail hour) and dining room (for dinner) to celebrate our elopement with our friends and family. It was an intimate affair with only 37 of us dining that evening and was an absolutely perfect evening, from the food, the drinks, the coordination, music and more. Meryl, who worked with us to plan our event, was incredible and made our vision for the evening come true. Planning Coordination: Meryl was fantastic. She was attentive in talking through our plans for the evening and flexible with accommodating any special asks for the evening to really make the event special for our guests. She was especially helpful in figuring out the right seating arrangement for our guests to ensure that the room felt connected and cohesive. Communication was so easy and all the final planning in the days leading up to the event was done so effortlessly that when the day came, there was nothing to worry about. We were able to enjoy the evening with our guests. Food: Excellent. Our guests LOVED the food. We served the meal family style so everyone had a little bit of everything. We have friends that are saying they'll go back for dinner soon. Staff: The staff was amazing, they were attentive and well-coordinated. Everything flowed so well. Atmosphere: It was a really sweet, intimate, romantic evening. We had lots of candles everywhere (both supplied by myself and Bacchus) and it made the room look so beautiful. If you ever need to host an intimate dinner in Brooklyn, I highly recommend inquiring with Bacchus. Or if you just want to have a delicious dinner (or brunch), definitely go too! I cannot wait to go back. photos taken by: @carissajoy.photo (IG)"

Two great experiences at the bar with Colleen and Kimmy. It was really nice chatting with you and turning you on to Pernod! À la prochaine !

We spent a great moment, thanks to Agathe, the best waitress. We recommend this restaurant if you want a good food and a high quality of service.

This is a fantastic French-style bistro. I've primarily visited for brunch, as well as one lunch. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the service is courteous. Overall, a wonderful experience. View menu

The wine and food recommendations from the waitress were on point. The food itself- I have never had a duck cooked this well. I love a delicious French restaurant without the snobbery usually associated with it.

I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely couple’s wedding at this venue in the fall, and I highly recommend it! The food and ambiance are fantastic. I really appreciate the versatility of the space; it can easily be transformed into both an outdoor and indoor dance floor as the night progresses.

Beautiful little French restaurant that has its charm in the winter when the garden is closed. The service is excellent, and while the menu is small, it provides a commendable selection of options. The French wine list is outstanding, but be aware that they only serve wine—no other alcohol. It's a great alternative if you're unable to visit Rucola. View menu

What an amazing gem! I saw this restaurant while out exploring the area from out of town, and I'm so glad that I stopped in. The ambiance is just lovely and the staff was so friendly and helpful as well. I ordered a glass of the Peyros and the ribeye steak. Wonderful pairing and fantastic steak cooked to perfection, I did not however read the size and was left with so much steak for the next few days. (No complaints here). I highly recommend this beautiful spot here in Brooklyn. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on October 20. We had a private room with covered outdoor space and our guests truly enjoyed themselves. We started off with cocktail hour outside, complete with pass apps. We then moved inside for dinner, where guests could choose beer or wine, and an app, entree, and dessert. The waitstaff were on top of it, seemed genuinely excited for us, and the night was overall amazing. I highly recommend Bacchus! PS they also are great for dinner wine, too, we have gone here for non-wedding related events as well!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
