"Belfast Maine is one of my favorite destinations in Maine. It is a beautiful seaside town with many excellent restaurants, Bell the Cat is one of them. I'll go to breakfast and lunch. Not only can you eat inside now, but you can also use the drive window or pick up your food from the pick-up spots outside. It houses a beautiful outdoor seating area, with herbs galore grows over the tables. What is better than the smell of fresh basil and mint! And... you can even have a moimosa or other alcoholic beverages, which is a plus for a Sunday brunch or another day for this matter! My favorite breakfast is Eggs Benedict. Eggs perfectly fried, muffin slightly roasted and delicious domestic frits. Who could ask for more. The menu is extensive and you would be hard pressed to find nothing to eat. Large vegetarians, children, fresh bakery and coffee options. The staff was welcoming, and despite the hospitality of the restaurant this Sunday, food was delivered immediately. I will continue to visit Bell the Cat every visit and hope to try everything on the menu!!!"

You can dine on premise, at patio. Best macaroon we've ever had. Best lettuce on the cobb salad and that's an award we never expected to give anyone, ever. Crisp, fresh and awesome. Reuben is open faced, I prefer as sandwich but this isn't a complaint, just observation. View menu

Bell the Cat is a fantastic family-owned and operated restaurant that truly contributes to the community. Their soups and sandwiches are exceptional! I have no idea where their muffins, cookies, and other baked goods come from, but I don't care—they're delicious! Stop by and check them out for lunch; you won't be disappointed!

I had the cat sandwich, also known as the "loose bell," at a well-managed event long after the sessions had finished. It was even better than any other sandwich I've tried in town. Your food and coffee are incredible! The previous comments were just for laughs. Truly, the food is always fresh, outstanding, and unparalleled. It's definitely worth the journey, no matter the distance!

Finally, I found a fantastic sandwich! I had a wonderfully lean open-faced Reuben piled high with plenty of meat. The Pastrami Swiss was also amazing (don’t forget to add coleslaw!). The menu was filled with an array of smoothies, lattes, and paninis, which felt a bit overwhelming, but I love trying something new each time I visit. Once again, the individuals responsible for tarnishing Weavers Bakery’s reputation are back at it. They are now promoting their baked goods under the name ‘Weaver’ while claiming to be associated with the original. Have they not been stopped? The true Weavers Bakery, located on Route 137, is the one that has been making the authentic cream horns, cinnamon rolls, and donuts for 60 years. They will not be deceived by these imitations.

Food was pretty good. The Thanksgiving wrap had icy cold stuffing and no cranberry sauce. It has huge potential and I hope that was an isolated incident. It’s my fault for not sending it back but I ate it. The parm chicken sandwich was very good. Really juicy chicken. Coffee was goody Small portions and big prices. $64 for 2 adults to have lunch with ice tea/soda. Really like the food overall and the friendly staff.
