"we used to be patrons of this restaurant. we will never go back or recommend it to everyone again. we feel like bait and turn and had a really unpleasant, not great experience. they used to eat was so authentic and they, now try to be something they are not, and invite way too much for what they offer. we sat and noticed the menu change and prices, but we thought we would give him a shot. we saw 3-4 parties sitting and then leaving as they realized that the menu had changed so drastically. we were so disappointed and the atmosphere, once fun, energetic and authentic is now pretentious and stiff. a place where yo earlier in the position to share an amazing pizza, they now get a tiny one that the size of a disc (no sweat) for $22, that they recompensated sharing for the table that was eating in order, just not the caliber of what they load. a big disappointment if they have ever been with their previous menu. as soon as one of our Go-tos, we'll never go back, and we've heard this from others since. when they see prices that they have won and great reviews, that is from the restaurant they were earlier. Why did they change when they ran so well?"

"I was so excited to write this review because this tiny but mighty place deserves the recognition! Everything we had was so good, and I swear every bite I took I kept saying “mmmmm!” I’ve lived in Belfast for almost a year and honestly have always driven by this place and wish I had tried it sooner, it’s honestly so worth it. The outside seems less than what it is but inside is very cozy and casual and cute decorations. Ordering was easy and so many options! We started with crab rangoons and the fried pork dumplings, then I had veggie pad Thai and he had orange chicken! Everything was so delicious can’t say it enough. We finished with some coconut ice cream and it was perfect and refreshing. Can’t wait to go back and try more yummy things!"

"We were unable to eat at Chase's on the day we stopped in because they were packed to the gills with over an hour wait for a table. The menu looked nice for it's local and healthful options, though it was not a very large menu. Many items were cheese-or-egg-based, though there were a few clear vegan choices that looked interesting. There were no vegan baked goods in the bakery section, but we completed all of our produce shopping for the week with the most gorgeous, fresh, organic produce we've seen in a long time. There were a ton of bins filled with Chase's-grown produce from which to choose. Staff were very helpful, though sparse during the bustling time."

"I don't normally post negative reviews. Generally speaking I think a lot of places are trying their best and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I had such a truly terrible experience at Bell the Cat that I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to others. Simply put, I ended up paying $80 for a brunch for *two* that wasn't worth $40. The good: The mimosa was good. Was it worth $10? Maybe. The salmon bagel (which I ordered as take out along with brunch) was excellent. Lots of smoked salmon and well worth the $13. The bad: The poached eggs I had with my red flannel hash were rock solid. I might as well have had two hard boiled eggs. The toast was cold, and the fried chicken served with the chicken and waffles was so salty it was inedible. The ugly: Being charged $3 for substituting maple syrup with the chicken and waffles, only to have a bottle of syrup brought with all the condiments. Paying a $1 upcharge for veggies on the salmon bagel. At no point was either charge mentioned by the cashier. I also want to take a moment to call out Bell the Cat's business model. I have no qualms with paying a premium for good service, but Bell the Cat is effectively a sandwich shop with pretensions of being a high-end full service restaurant. By collecting payment first there is zero accountability (aside from angry reviews like this one). Not a single staff person asked me about the quality of the food, and since I did not have an actual server there was no easy way to express my frustration or even find out where to get water (because you have to do that for yourself too). I will not be going back, and I strongly encourage others to spend their money elsewhere too."

"This looks like such a beautiful co-op. I’m not sure how I got to be Facebook friends with you, but I have a niece in Belfast Northern Ireland and for a long time I thought this was her Co-op there and I was always so sad that I missed visiting it when I visited Northern Ireland. Now, I finally realize, I wouldn’t have to go quite that far to visit your beautiful establishment. I’m a member of two co-ops her in Minnesota! Best of luck to all of you."
