"very clean pleasing to the eyes interior and great marine location. went for Sunday lunch and no waiting was promptly seated. Waiter came introduced himself and offered drinks. He came back after about 10 minutes to order. we placed a chicken pasta plate and a fisherman's player. we waited for over 1/2 an hour and he then informed us due to a large group the kitchen is backed up. we eventually got our food which was excellent but he should have told us that there might be a delay because if the large group. The chicken was overcooked and hard. the fish dish was as expected very good. we couldn't finish and asked for Togo containers. Food drinks: excellent food mostly. bar well stocked and others with drinks enjoyed them and food."

"I attempted to go to Liv for my birthday this last Wednesday 9/14 and had a horrible experience. Tried to call ahead- no reservations for parties less than 5. We got there about 6:30 and were told it was a 30 minute wait, which was to be expected soI had no issue with this. After about 40 minutes had gone by without anyone checking in, we asked the hostess for an update. Sheforcibly ?asked? us if we would be OK sitting at the bar behind the door- which on a normal night I would have done no issue-but it was my birthday and I felt like a table after 40 minutes of a 30 minute wait wasn?t an unreasonable request. I said tothe hostess ?we?ve already been waiting 40 minutes, will it be much longer for a table? We?ll wait? and she flippantly replied,nearly cutting me off, ?Yes- MUCH longer!? There had been a 2 top table open for about 25 minutes in the dining room at thispoint, which we could see from the waiting area, so I asked about this due to the wait and lack of tables apparently available.The hostess said ?oh no, ?they? won?t let me seat anyone there.? Needless to say, we left and went to KKaties where the servicewas great, quick, and friendly. This was extremely disappointing because I loved Fat Cat (where chef previously worked) and alsoHola. I was so excited for a special birthday meal and was treated like an afterthought. Could have ruined my day but thanks toKKaties for salvaging it!"

To avoid the fee, I recommend arriving before 7 pm."
