"I got there late at night. For some reason the restaurant got busy all of a sudden and the servers were all running around. The wait was a bit longer than I would have liked, but when they did have time to come over to me they were all very friendly and as attentive as they could be given how busy they were. I tried their short ribs spaghetti, really an upgrade from the trite spaghetti and meatballs. Their strawberry cheesecake was delicious, too. Only thing was the blood orange margarita was rather weak. All in all though, I did quite enjoy dining there."

I experienced racial profiling at this restaurant. The manager told me, "Black people steal."

The food and service are always exceptional! I never have any doubts about it. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious. I'm part of a Facebook food group, and I always rave about the Brass Fork. View menu

We will be going back! The pancakes were almost just as good as Blueberry Hills, these ones definitely come in at my number 2. So much food! So come hungry! My husband and I could have shared just one plate.

They were busy today. I had reservations but still had to wait for about 30 minutes. We had salmon and Fish and Chips. They were really good. Especially the salmon that came with a side salad (very fresh) and quinoa, looked extremely healthy and tasted delicious. The fried Cod was very tasty as well. Felt sorry for the server. He was running around taking orders and serving drinks and food. He never complained and always had a smiling face. He's the best!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
