"A place to stop for a bite when on our way home from shopping at the shops on Clark Street. We have been stopping here multiple times over the years, however, today was an exception, the service was great, but the food was not very good at all. Hardly warm, not thoroughly cooked and cold fries! My wife says we won't be back. I am disappointed that I have to write this review, sometimes the rush to serve reduces the quality of the product. I hope this review causes a change for the better to be reintroduced for everyone top-down."

Great staff very friendly, polite, efficient all with a clean environment. The food was just what I needed to take a family of people who all have different eating habits. I was very pleased.

The food was meh. My turkey club was not cut like a club sandwich, it was more like a blt with turkey on it. Service was not friendly and the vibe of the place is unwelcoming. Overall it was a terrible experience.

Nice neighborhood fast food place that is not a big chain. Good food and service. Our kids really like the burgers.Food always is prepared fresh, so depending on your order you might pull ahead for a bit in the drive through. Still pretty quick even on larger orders. View menu

I’ve come here before but the food has changed I think? We got burgers and there wasn’t any charcoal flavor to them at all…in fact this place didn’t smell like charcoal at all (it used to). Kind of disappointed considering the name. Gyro was a tad pale. Nice cashier though and clean restaurant!

faster service, many options. they serve to eat to their table after they order in front. So you don't have the wait before you eat. not sure if that happens when it comes to doing when we arrived at 15 o'clock when there was no lunch break. the food was decent for the price. Charcoal flavor for the burger, better than the mcdonald’s over the street. krispy crinkle schnittfries. View menu

This was my first time visiting Charcoal Delight, I ride pass every day on my way to work. Saturday me and a co worker decided to go in after work, We both ordered Bacon Double Cheeseburgers, the burger was very good. I also liked the large menu of great grilled food. YES I will revisit Charcoal Delight. And I recommend ordering the Bacon Double Cheeseburger with all the fixings.

ordered a chicken cabob sandwich and a small/regular pommes. website says that the horses are included with this sandwich, but was told differently when I came there and so ordered, from the jump my lunch cost more than I expected. the sum was $12.10, type of high, especially considering that the sandwich was small. also the huh was hard so it wasn't even good enough to make for the size. I'm a little disappointed, tbh.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
