"I met a friend from Barclays on Friday night at CW's, located at the bottom of the Barclays Building on the Wilmington Riverfront. I was pleasantly surprised to see the patio bustling with people at 5:00 PM during the summer in Wilmington. We sampled several dishes from the Tapas menu while enjoying the lively atmosphere and lovely river view. Our server, the delightful “Harbor Girl” Stephanie, consistently brought us delicious food and drinks at a relaxed pace. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the patio offered an amazing experience. It transformed from a restaurant into a vibrant nightclub right before my eyes, all without feeling cheesy! This place is definitely the hottest spot in Wilmington right now!"

I've visited this restaurant several times, starting just a week after it opened as Conley Wards. Each visit has been enjoyable thanks to the great atmosphere, especially when there are live bands. The food is outstanding, but be prepared for a bit of a splurge. The service has always been prompt and helpful. It's definitely a great spot if you're looking to spend $100 or more.

This is the new name for Conley Wards on the Riverfront. The place is stunning, both inside and out. They offer a wide range of meal options, including burgers and tapas, and have a lovely wine cellar. However, they still need to make some adjustments for consistency. For instance, when we ordered the jumbo blue crab plate, one of the crabs was quite small, like a spider, and one of the vegetable sides arrived raw and cold. Both issues were addressed quickly, though. We will certainly give it another chance. The outdoor bars seemed like a fun spot for a summer evening.

"**Service:** We were seated quickly, and while one dish was missing its sauce, the overall service was satisfactory. **Food:** The standout items here are the soups that accompany your meals. There are three options: hot and sour, egg drop, and miso. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef lunch (not pictured), which was meant to be spicy but instead came drenched in a heavy dark sauce that overshadowed the minimal beef slices. I opted for the lunch special sushi, which included two basic rolls. Both were bland in flavor. The rice did not appear to be sushi-grade; some grains were hard, suggesting it had been sitting out for a while, which was surprising since we arrived right at opening time at 11. I also ordered a specialty roll – either the Tuna Supreme or Tuna Tornado (I can’t remember the exact name) – which was supposed to feature tempura tuna with additional tuna on top. Unfortunately, the tempura tuna tasted like canned tuna. My sister ordered the crab Rangoon, which was decent; it had more cream cheese than crab but still tasted good. She also got the Scorpion King roll, which was supposed to contain tempura, but it clearly had been prepared in advance, as it wasn’t even warm. One of my biggest pet peeves with sushi is when the components aren’t made fresh to order. The rice felt old, the tempura was lackluster, and the fish seemed canned. We also ordered the Hamachi Kama, which arrived without ponzu sauce. Traditionally, Hamachi Kama is grilled or broiled, but this version was pan-fried. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but regrettably, I won’t be returning. However, I did notice many customers who seemed to really enjoy their meals."
