"Wow! Wow! From the best-filled French toast ever to the incredibly tasty filled crab eggs benedict, the fantastic French toast plate, and some of the fastest, friendliest, and most efficient service, Papa Os delivers and then some. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you - Papa Os has some of the best dining and service on the island, with excellent dishes (especially for Kauai). I wish I could say I discovered this place, but I can't. Parking is easy, and it's conveniently located near the airport, so we can easily come back even if we're in a hurry. We're already making plans to return tonight!"

The restaurant offered excellent and efficient service. The staff was outstanding. The food was delicious and made me feel like I was dining in someone's home. The shortbread cookies were the best I've ever had; they disappear quickly. I would recommend avoiding the spicy chicken on the menu.

Delicious, hidden breakfast joint. You’ll pull into the strip mall it’s in and think you are in the wrong place. But it is so delicious! We waited for a bit for a table, we were there around 9:30 on a Wednesday but they were quick to serve us once we were seated. I got the Stuffed French Toast and my husband got the Local and they were so yummy! It was a perfect, family owned diner that was a great meal to start our day.

Absolute fan! This is a MUST try on Kaua'i! Local families and tourists alike find their happy place here. Captain Harry, the owner, is a Vietnam Veteran and really brings the elements of Wala'au Ohana to this family-owned and -ran restaurant. The food is on point and the customer service is the best on Kaua'i! We heard that Harry and family are working on a new dessert that might have tasted REALLY ono, but you'll have to go yourself to check it out... Dickie Chang approved Daddy O's Restaurant!
