"After driving 10+ hours, I was exhausted. It made sense to just eat in the resort. I could also get a couple drinks while waiting for our food so it was decided. When I walked in, I sat at the bar. The bartender took her time to help me but when she did, I was able to order a double Basil Hayden neat. I messaged Mink what's on their menu and waited for her reply on what to order. While waiting, she was talking up a storm with the couple sitting next to me. I had to flag her down each time I had a question or wanted to order something. She didn't check on me and even forgot to check on my question on if they offered hot cocoa. I had to remind her which was annoying because the place was not busy. Fortunately her coworker went out of her way to make it for Mink. 5 stars to her coworker and a star bump up for the overall experience. Mink and I decided to share a burger since we were still pretty full from lunch. We ordered their D.W.L. signature Burger medium well with everything on the side and fries extra crispy. The kitchen got the order out in no time and as ordered which impressed us. We thought the burger was ok but it wasn't blow your mind amazing. The fries were quite crispy and we were content with the meal. What I thought was odd was that the bartender gave me my bill when my food came out without asking me if I wanted the check. I also didn't ask for it but since she gave it to me, I decided to go back to the room. Guess I wasn't welcome there. Overall, 2.5 stars. Convenient but meh."

The view of the bay was wonderful, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. The quality was low, and it wasn't cooked properly.

The food and service were excellent. The resort was quite peaceful during our visit on March 20/21, which was exactly what our larger group needed after a long drive from the Grand Canyon.

The bartender Joe is very disengaged. The female server with tattoos emptied her shoe full of sand onto the restaurant floor then proceeded to pick something out of her teeth with her hand. The wedge salad doesn't have bleu cheese on it (the menu doesn't say it does but what is a wedge salad without bleu cheese? A salad.

We arrived here after a long day of driving and exploring. It was dark outside and we were frankly very excited to find a restuarant open in the resort. We ordered 2 fried chicken sandwiches with fries and a couple sodas. The service was very fast and friendly, the food was good and arrived quickly, and although it was way too cold to sit outside, it was one of the few restuarants in Arizona that actually allowed social distancing. I had the worst experience at this restaurant, which was unfortunate given the fantastic scenery. First, we requested a table by the window, and there were plenty available, yet we were seated far from it. The food, which was meant to be Italian, was terrible—dry and far from fresh. It's clear the chef doesn't understand Italian cuisine, as they managed to ruin high-quality ingredients that are usually hard to spoil. The service was also lacking; our server forgot to bring the teacup and mixed up our tea order, and unfortunately, she seemed overwhelmed. Overall, the fancy interior didn’t make up for the poor experience. I would not recommend this place.

Saw a lot of negative review of this place which was a little concerning at first. Since there weren't many restaurants in the area so we tried it out and we were thoroughly impressed. They have a nice indoor space that has waiter service and then you could also do a to go order and eat by the pool. We opted for the latter. For lunch I ordered the burger. It was good and came with fries that were crispy and tasted good. We liked this place enough to come back for dinner. I ordered the wedge salad, pork belly sliders, chicken sandwich and Nutella creme brûlée. All were delicious. The creme brûlée was the best! Also all the waiters bar tenders were so nice!

As far as hotel bars/restaurants go, Driftwood Lounge was perfectly solid. The service was nothing but friendly and professional, and the food was tasty. The prices are a little high for what you're getting, but that's to be expected at a resort. What stands out to me about this restaurant is the amazing views of the mountains in Lake Powell/Page, AZ. You really cannot beat this view as you have dinner or drinks. If you prefer to sit outside, you can sit by the outdoor pool and order takeout from the bar, which they will bring to your seats outside. Overall I really liked it here! We ate and drank here multiple times during our stay and we were happy with it. View menu

Poorly trained staff leading to unacceptable service. Stopped in for lunch. It wasn't at all busy but it took a while to get my order. Once I stopped the server to get status, suddenly my food appeared but it was cold. Clearly it was ready a while ago but the server didn't get notified or didn't check. I ended up taking the food home and microwaving it so I could finish it. It was actually quite good when heated properly. Such a shame that it wasn't served warm. There was also a bit of a flail over the wine I ordered. Took four or five visits by the server and the bartender before I was told what was available and served. Several items on the menu were not available.

I wish I could give it 0 stars; alas. Have you ever wanted food worse than Denny's but at country club prices? Have you ever hoped you could order steak or salmon only to have it come out literally five minutes later because it's been obviously reheated? Have you dreamed of dining in halogen-accented light within a dining room as bland as the food itself, while wishing you had Ore-Ida quality boxed mashed potatoes because the disgusting lump of off-white starch in front of you is inedible entirely? Well, look no further than the Driftwood Lounge, where you'll quickly realize the driftwood is you and you've washed up into a pretentious, expensive, horrible nightmare of a restaurant. Bon appet...

"There 's no doubt that dining at this restaurant affords a memorable sunset view. However, there are a few noteworthy downsides that dampen the overall experience. When it comes to food, it 's a bit of a mixed bag. The BBQ chicken is passable, but doesn 't leap off the plate. It feels like opportunity missed, considering BBQ is such a versatile dish. On a brighter note, the Katsu bowl carries a robust flavor, an instant hit on your tastebuds. But the over fried meat leaves it with a hitch that stops it from being an outright star. Now, coming to service, it 's just plain frustrating. The outdoor seating area was not well maintained, sending an unappealing first impression. After requesting a table wipe, we were left waiting for a while. And then, after a long delay, we were essentially forgotten. A group of four, left hanging for 15 long minutes before we could even order unacceptable! Perhaps the biggest bummer was the lengthy waiting time for our dishes, made even worse when we spotted other tables getting served first. In summary, the superb view is a lure, but the restaurant needs to level up their food and service standards. It 's not a place you 'd want to write off, but you come with realistic expectations of the experience. At the moment, a sunset view can 't make up for underwhelming service and inconsistent food quality. Extra effort to improve these crucial points could take this place from just 'okay ' to 'fantastic '."
