"First I want to say that I've been coming here since I was a little 10 year old boy. For the last 25 years we've loved and supported this place so much. Tonight I had a very bad experience with one of the managers( Tall skinny guy with short hair,blue shirt light hair as I stepped out of the way so he could pass. My son and I wear masks and do not eat in the restaurantbut we always order our food to go after our family eats. After we stepped out of the way for the manager and said you go aheadsir he gave me the worst dirty look and didn't even acknowledge me and then went 2 steps to the bar and talked with his friendsat the bar. We are just starting to come out of covid and ready to demask and had planned on coming to the brown bottle at leastevery two weeks from now on like we used to. Let me say though the owner is an amazing man who is very kind which is why I'mgiving three stars instead of one. He welcomed us to my birthday dinner like we belonged there. It is because of him that I willbe returning. Amazing owner and amazing food. Hopefully after my next visit I can change it back to five stars. I'll tell youthat never again will I step out of the way for that manager who looked at my son and I like we were freaks with completedisrespect. My child is diabetic with an auto immune disease so we have to be safe. I just wish we weren't judged in a place mygrandpa always took us to as kids."

"I dined here for dinner and found the food to be quite good. However, the wait for our meals and drinks was a bit longer than expected, likely due to a staffing shortage like many places are facing these days. I ordered a salad, while others at my table enjoyed the chicken and waffles, which were served in generous portions. While I can't rate it a full five stars, as I reserve that for truly exceptional experiences, I had no complaints about the meal. The menu features the usual bar and grill fare. Overall, it was a solid dining experience. Service: Dine-in."

"Brass Tap is our favorite spot for date night, but honestly, I could go there any day of the week! Their extensive selection of cocktails, beers, and sours always makes it a tough decision, yet we’ve never been let down. The food consistently satisfies, and this place is hard to surpass. Jonathan is our favorite server, and we always look forward to getting one of his tables when we visit!"

"I ordered an Old Fashioned, and while it was definitely strong, it didn't quite meet my expectations—primarily because an Old Fashioned should come with an orange twist, not a whole slice, which slightly impacted my initial impression. However, the entire dining experience took a complete 180 after that moment and truly impressed me. I had the Iowa pork chop, served with home-baked potatoes (not what you might expect) and green beans drizzled in olive oil, topped with grated cheese and dill—wow! The pork chop was incredible, and the potatoes were absolutely indescribable; they were simply a bowl of heavenly goodness. This dish is an absolute must-try! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention—the Moscow Mules completely outshone the Old Fashioned."
