"Decided to try here after reading some of the other reviews. Atmosphere was nice and had a sort of older homey feel to it. The wall next to our booth and the high chair we received were filthy (wet wipes saved the day) but the rest of the place seemed clean. The menu wasnt huge but had some American style standards on it with reasonable prices. Hubs ordered the French Dip Philly style and after he requested more onion and pepper (they were on there but were a little sparse) he was very pleased and said it tasted very good. I ordered the Cougar Salad which was very tasty, at first I thought the toppings were a little sparse but after eating it I only had about 1/4 of my lettuce left that had no toppings on it. It was very delicious. Our hostess was very friendly as was our Server, we were very pleased with our service. For the price, the food, and the service we were rather pleased and would return. This is really just American fare but it's done well at a decent price."

Love this restaurant! My family and I visited here many times and we had a fantastic experience every time. Great service and good prices for delicious food (you probably spend about $11-$14 per meal). Look at this great restaurant, you will enjoy it!

For the first time visitors here from Michigan. I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich. What I say is no exaggeration: it was the most divine sandwich I've ever had. It brought me to another place and brought me back. I almost started crying because I never had a sandwich so good! My only complaint is that it wasn't bigger so I could enjoy more of it! Lol! Flatirons is a great place to go for a good meal on the southern part of the springs. They have a wide ranging menu that will satisfy almost all appetites. They also have a great beer menu with several craft beer choices. I enjoyed their very own golden ale. They have a lounge and a bar so you can enjoy your meal however you would like. They are only a few blocks away from the World arena in one direction and the Broadmoor in the other so if you are planning a visit to either location (or the surrounding attractions) this would be a great place to stop off at and grab a bite to eat.
