"I am a frequent diner and occasionally pick up food from this restaurant. My top picks are the Mediterranean skillet (I prefer the light garlic sauce on the side) and the salmon salad (I like to swap the pesto dressing for the poppyseed dressing). The pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. The French toast is made with fresh, house-baked bread and is delicious, though the last time I tried it, the middle was a bit undercooked and tasted doughy. The grits are great, and I appreciate that they don’t come with cheese, which is a rare find. However, I prefer my grits without sausage, so I don’t order them anymore. This place is definitely one of my go-to spots, especially for breakfast in New Braunfels. My guests usually enjoy the food when I bring them here."

They serve their full menu all day, so soup and salad at 8 AM, IS GREAT!! Also, they have Organic ketchup and fresh ground Himalayan salt on the table View menu

We love coming here! Every time we do, we request to sit in Morgan’s section. She is such a great server, very attentive, has an amazing personality, and always has a smile on her face. Even when FnS is busy, she ensures to check on our group. Morgan suggested the Mediterranean Skillet and it’s our favorite!

This is a busy restaurant and for good reason. The food is very good. Reasonable prices and huge portions. We have dined in as well as gotten takeout a few times. All good. Really great service! Attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, but do expect a wait to be seated (and no seating incomplete parties) during popular times. View menu

Not very happy with service or food. I asked not to have to queso and chips and she wouldn't take them off my order. Then I ordered my burger medium well and it was definitely not. I told her about it and never did she say she would talke it back. So NOT impressed. 1st and last time her. I will let everyone know about my experience!!!

Great homemade style breakfast. The potatoes are cubed and crispy. Poached eggs and scrambled eggs are tasty. They offer sourdough toast or biscuits. Both good. Wish they offered turkey bacon as well. Popular restaurant, so you may experience a wait for a table. Update: went back and ordered the French toast and pancakes. Omg, both were so yummy!!

"Update: I still stand by everything in my original review but I will add. Our work group picked to eat here again a year later. I was DREADING it, but ... It's actually a really nice dining experience when the weather is cooler and flies aren't swarming the table, which was the case this time. I was so relieved. Don't go when it's hot!! Our server was an angel and very sweet and attentive, so my review is completely about the atmosphere and not her. It's hard for me to fathom that there is a restaurant in Texas that doesn't have AC. Even harder to fathom that said restaurant would be so popular. And this was a day that was NOT triple digits so I can't imagine what it's like in the dead of summer. Especially with a bunch of people (like ourselves) who have most likely been floating in the sun for over four hours down the Guadalupe river. I'm usually cold and bring a jacket in my car for places I go that are super cold from AC, so I'm not hot natured. I was ROASTING the entire time. I highly recommend the bathroom. I was desperate for relief from the heat and thought, surely the bathrooms have AC. Thank the heavens it did. I asked an employee, who had also gone there to cool down, how many times a day ambulances had to come treat heat stroke victims. She actually confirmed this was a frequent occurrence. These POOR servers!!! In fact, while we were there they had to put ice packs on another person at another table. I downed at least three or four glasses of ice water along with a cold Topo Chico. Flies everywhere swarming our food. Flies were the the thing that finally made us give up and leave. I would have taken the rest of my pasta salad but alas, one fly that I tried to shoo away had settled in and was not going anywhere. So it got left. I ordered the cold pasta salad because putting something hot in my mouth seemed unimaginable to me. It was, I will say, absolutely delicious."
