"We had such a great time tonight. We had a little bit of a wait because it was busy but there was plenty of space to stand and we got a drink at the bar. Then, we got a table much earlier than expected. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Our order got misplaced but the manager came out promptly and apologized and offered some appetizers while we waited for them to rush our meals. We did not wait too long but the service was amazing. We got the poutine and smoked nuts that were offered. De … – show"

Good drinks, friendly staff, nice outdoor area to sit on on this 60deg January day! Busy but restaurant does fine job of moving people thru.

Great small plate. Pierogies and Pasties are awesome comfort food. Nice menu in general. The Puff Pastry Brie was a great way to end our meal. Delicious. A great vibe at The Frisco.

I would never step foot into this entity again! Last week my wife and I decided to stop in for a drink. No one greeted us. A staff made eye contact and went on to serve another customer. The bar was still making drinks. 10 minutes later, a waitress she came by our table and said “we did last call five minutes ago.” We’ll take our else where were we are valued. View menu

Great things done “ok”. That's about how I'd sum up my experience. Poutine didn't use gravy hot enough to melt the curds at all, so chunks of not gooey cheese, but the flavors were all there. French dip roast beef was a bit on the dry side, and the au jus could be a bit richer, but it's ok. Grilled cheese needed something herbal (garlic, parsley, basil? to balance with the cheese fruit and bacon but wasn't bad. Nothing was bad. Was all just ok. Which is fine until the bill comes and it s … – show

Stopped in for dinner on Sunday Jan 22nd around 7pm with baby. Was greeted by hostess who led us to table. Asked for high chair and was quickly told we could not use at end of table. Perfect we asked to move to another table to fix issue. We were then told we couldn’t use empty high tops because they were needed for people that just might want a drink. Try to move again to four top, same problem as before no high chair at end. My wife suggest moving one of the chairs, so hostess has to ask bar m … – show

"I've visited here in the past, but it's been a few years. I fondly remember enjoying the family style dining. Most recently I ate here with a friend and it left a bit to be desired... They were busy when we arrived but my friend had made a reservation so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated in a corner booth type table. Friend is gluten free and we chose this restaurant as they offered gf pasta dishes. That did not disappoint. It was exciting to learn that all of their sauces are gluten free and they have a pasta offering as well. They had a special 2 for dinner special and we ordered that. We both selected salads, chicken fettucine alfredo and we had the caramel apple torte with ice cream on the side (ice cream is gf). I also asked if they offered a bread service and the waitress advised that they did. I was very excited for dinner! The food and service however were disappointing.... bread service arrived after the salads... There was confusion with the salads one was supposed to be gf, the other dressing on the side. Neither had croutons and both had dressing on them. The person delivering them was also confused with them and they gave us a bit of doubt about whether the gf portion of the meal would be accurate (this is very important when you have celiac). The pastas arrived and sadly they only tasted okay. I thought maybe it was a preference on my behalf but friend was also disappointed with the flavor. The sauce lacked flavor and texture.... I still had hope for the dessert but didn't care much for it either. The outer crust had a flavor I didn't care for and I didn't finish. The ice cream however was delicious! Service throughout the meal was sporadic but they were busy so we didn't think much of it. However when it was time for dessert and the check our waitress was ready and literally advised she would wait while i reviewed the dessert menu and made a selection. Overall, it was nice that they had multiple sauce offerings that were gluten free as this was a main driver of us choosing this restaurant, however based on food taste, I most likely would not return. There are too many other great Italian restaurants in st louis."
