"Late afternoon lunch, arrived around 3:00 pm. They were still busy with at least a dozen people in and out. Order when you walk in and the employee was very polite. The kitchen, which you can see while ordering looked clean that's important. Fairly extensive menu for what is basically a burger joint. The double cheese burger with fries came out steamy hot and a generous amount of pickle, onion, etc... Plenty of FF with this order The jalapeno burger actually had jalapenos that you could taste. It was very good. The burger pattie is almost larger than the bun. The chocolate shake was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back to try other items."

"I’m usually skeptical about pretzel bread being tough and hard to eat, but that was definitely not the case here! The bread was soft, doughy, and absolutely delightful. We enjoyed pretzel bread roast beef with salad, pizzas, and a grilled cheese sandwich made with center-cut pretzel bread (which I’ve never encountered before). Everything was fantastic! Looking forward to coming back soon!"

"This restaurant has a fantastic location near the Imperial and offers excellent service. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The only downside was that we tried to request our favorite server, but we were told they couldn't serve us because their section was full. We understand that tables are shared among different servers, but we specifically chose this place because we love that particular server. Our server on this visit was also very nice and did a great job! Thank you for the wonderful food!"

"Place has good food but a bit pricey. The server was friendly it just took a while to get served even though the place was empty. The place does need a major face lift. The carpet is starting to wear out and furniture is getting dated. Not a bad bar with good food. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2"

"I've spent my life hearing about it. I spent 1 hour living the dream. It was a pie in the sky dream due to constantly long wait times but today it happened. In all honesty, it worked out great coinciding this with the Christmas Kimmswick festival so the wait time meant shopping and perfect timing. So here's the scoop. 1. Chicken chili cozy, scrumptious and worth the hype. I'd eat this 3 times a week if I could. It's a must. 2. The beef stew eh... 3. The quiche Lorraine standard, good execution, good for breakfast, not for recommendations 4. The chicken salad pie insane. Couldn't stop eating it. A must try. Like the chicken pie covered with cheese, I too was smothered with deliciousness and had to stop to come up for error. And for the finale, the pies. 1. The coconut cream pie: delicious, yes, award winning no. Overshadowed by the famous levee pie 2. The mile high levee apple pie: it's on Oprah's favorite things... rightfully so. The caramel on the crust, lawwwd have mercy. Necessary hack get it with vanilla ice cream. It needs some cream to cut the apple cinnamon's delicious 19 layers. All in all, great spot. For how famous and constantly busy it sounds it is I'm surprised the inside still looks like grandmas backyard home cookin small town dinner spot with 0 upgrades other than additional seating on a quasi patio but perhaps that's part of the charm. Worth the drive, worth the wait. Would enjoy again."
