"I ordered delivery from here today based off the reviews and boy was I disappointed. ? I ordered oxtails, curry chicken, and brown stew chicken all dinners comes with rice and peas, cabbage, and plaintains. First I have to say that the packaging was horrendous, its like they piled a whole lot of rice in a small cheap container and the gravy was spilled in all of the bags, a complete mess. I first had to open each bag and container and transfer the food to bowls and rush to get the bags out of the house. After transferring the food to bowls I was finally able to fix our plates to eat. The only meat 2 of my family members eat is chicken and I'm the only one that eats beef. I tasted both the brown stew and curry chicken and it was just meh...they didn't like it at all. So I fix my oxtail plate and sit down to eat, I wish I had read the review on here about the burnt oxtails, then I probably wouldn't have ordered them because that review was absolutely correct. They were burnt and tasted burnt which made the rice with the gravy taste burnt. I had to throw the whole thing in the garbage. Thankfully the app I ordered on gave me back the $17 plus tax for that plate. Although we threw the rest of the food away I didn't complain. I do know that I will never order from this place again. ? Oh, another thing, I ordered 3 patties a spicy beef, mild beef and a jerk chicken and all I can say is they were just ok."

The whole wheat hardo bread and the bulla (ginger cakes) was very good. They have no vegan entrees on the menu. My friend loved the food and the patties. Customer service was excellent.

Hammonds has been in the Miami Gardens community for a long while and it speaks volumes when you see familiar faces of the employees.Went in for their jerk chicken wings (only on Saturday) and red pea soup. I too wish they had the prices posted so I know what to expect before paying. View menu

Everything here at this Jamaican Bakery is delicious ?, even the soup. Jamaican patties hot or mild, coconut drops, rum cake, etc. You won't be disappointed. Hamm mind's is one of the first Jamaican Bakeries that started here in Miami for more than 15 years that I know of. They have the best of all in my opinion.

For years, it's been a tradition for me to stop by Hammond's Bakery whenever I'm in Miami. On my latest visit, I bought my usual dozen frozen patties to take back to Southwest Florida, plus three more for the road. The woman at the counter, who had previously delivered patties to my friends in Fort Myers after Hurricane Ian, generously gave me two extra dozen frozen patties. Truly, such kindness is a blessing!
