"Horrible. Attended an event that brought them in a ton of business. I spent a lot of money on souveneirs, , food, and drinks. Was there for 5 hours giving them business all night. I asked for a glass of water and was told I had to purchase it. Maybe if I had not purchased food and drink there the entire night, it would make sense. However, I gave them a lot of business just on my own. Instead of the bartender explaining that he needed to charge a small fee to cover supplies/costs, he caught attitude when I didn 't want to buy bottled water. I explained I just dropped a lot of money during the 5 hours I was there, at a party, literally in front of his face. His response was, 'I don 't know that. ' Because yeah, I have nothing better to do but lie to get a cup of water. He 's so concerned about losing his job. I guess treating the customers that helps him get his salary with some sort of decency isn 't a requirement. I drop lots of money at Hardrock cafes and never would this fly anywhere else. So many places to book for events or eat/drink, don 't go here. Hope the $5 for a 6oz cup of tap water was enough for him to keep his job."

Family lunch, standard American cuisine plus. Standard atmosphere for a Hard Rock. View menu

Loved that they make fresh lemonade with basil. It was the best lemonade I've had in a long while

Good food. Service efficient and friendly Seemed to lack some atmosphere but we were eating early and next to a noisy table, which didn’t help. But always reliable fare!

The venue was far from busy, there was still a bit of ambiance-and the service from Justino was excellent. As always the portions were HUGE, even my husband couldn’t finish.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
