"Oh lordy where to start, the breakfast was scumptous along with Jennifer being a amazing waitress. The half order of biscuits gravy was as good as mine, that's a first for me. Now the Bakery is da bomb, so so many choices. You have to go there to understand as you'll see in my pictures. Prices on both the restaurant bakery are so reasonable, besides supporting a local business. Fresh everything, my car smelled like a bakery for a couple of hours. Down the road one block is a fabulous view of Fox River to boot."

Food and Doughnuts are the best. Get there early. Place fills up fast. Stays busy. Great atmosphere. Polite service. Take home some Christmas cookies. They are delicious.

Great, fair priced pastries from a family owned small business. Wish more places like this were around these days. This box was 7$. This quantity of pastries of this quality would cost 20$ at a fancy downtown bakery can't beat harners

Came here while on a road trip. The helpings are large and the food is delicious. My husband loved the fried chicken as it was juicy, tender and the coating was crispy. The rolls are the best I have ever had. The bakery is amazing! Very busy but we didn't have to wait long. This is a must if you are in the area.

Food was very good and this reminded us all of a place from Wisc! It was evening so we couldn't see the Fox river but I'm sure if you can get a table with a view the atmosphere is even better but this place is very homey neighborly! Service was good and we will definitely go back when in the area again if for nothing else than to buy more baked goods! View menu

Grandma's kitchen, homestyle food. If that's what you are looking for this is where you want to go. Their bread/biscuit not sure what to call it is amazing. They also have a bakery and I am sure you will find something sweet you love just like we did. We were traveling through and found this on Google. Very glad we made it a stop. The views if the river while you eat are beautiful as well.

The biscuits and gravy were amazing. I gotta be honest, they were probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Everyone from the staff to the people at the table beside ours was friendly, the food was great, and I just felt completely at home here. Plus the bakery smelled like a corner of heaven! (I'm including two pics from out the window beside our table, you can see the river and I also saw a big fat bird in the bush.

"The reviews made us excited to try this place. We ordered the Angus burger meal, chicken tenders meal, a cheesesteak sandwich, all with fries, and a drink. Bad news first. The fries were soggy and limp at best. Some of us received undercooked fries that seemed very much as if they opened a bag of frozen fries and nuked them for 2 minutes. The burger texture and the taste were way off from what I know Angus to taste like. It was soggy, mushy, gray, and microwaved. It was so off-putting that it went into the garbage on the first bite, and at over $70 for the food, I had zero guilt for putting it there. I went home to have a cold bowl of cereal. The sauce on the burger was watery and not flavorful. It was pretty much French dressing with water. Even the color was like French dressing. The lettuce was crispy, and that was the only positive note for that experience. The chicken tenders had the exact opposite problem. Those bad boys were overcooked to an absolute hockey puck and so thin I think it was more breading than chicken. Completely inedible. You could bend them from end to end, and they were holding strong. The good news. The ice cream that comes with the kids' meal was very vanilla and was actually decent. The cheesesteak sandwich is BY FAR the best thing on the menu and the only reason I would ever visit again. I'm not trying to be mean with this review, but I have to be honest because I feel as though we were tricked into coming to this place because of all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. It was a waste of hard-to-come- by money for our family."
